Poll: Do you respond to what Characters say in the game.......

Not so often. All I say is "Yea I heard you the first time" or "Shut up already!"

I respond quite frequently to Doyle in Far Cry, if only to spare myself of Jack's horrendous voice acting.

"Jack, we need you to decimate that security outpost to throw everyone off your trail from that base you blew up 4 minutes ago"

"Well, you sure as one hell of a tactician, aren't ya, sport?"

I've found expressing extreme pessimism to the protagonists efforts heightens the experience

In half-life 2 everytime someone volunteered me for a suicide mission I would tell them to fuck off however Gordon didn't seem to get this part and said nothing.

In Medieval total war 2 or starcraft I find myself yelling orders to my troops. Part of me finds it fun to think I'm barking orders to the characters.

I do sometimes, yes. Specially in RPGs, I spew a lot of "won't you freaking die already!!"

Occasionally, just to make my self laugh I'll choose a character and just tell them to shut up ever time they speak. The last characters to get this abuse was Persona 3's Yukari, because I really don't like her in the Answer, and Persona 4's Chie because it was funny.

Jokes aside, I'm not actually sure whether I do something similar or not. I know I curse out my Brute a lot, but that's because I have absolutely no input in his fights.

Yeah, I do my own Rifftrax in every game I play.

Whether it's a comment about my character, another character, or an event that just happened.

I only do sometimes. Like when I heard "Hyar!!" being pronounced, compared to how it's written, I had a moment where I had to ask "Hyar?", to myself. lol

Usually I only talk back in moments of confusion like that though.

Well, in Arkham Asylum, whenever I glide kick, I have a tendency to yell "MY PARENTS ARE DEAD!" I also stab people in AC2 who say something mean to me...or if they're fat.

more offen then not, I end up saying "...Well fuck..." and i love it when charecters in the game say stuff that everyone already knew, i always end up more or less yelling "Well no shit idiot!"

Very rarely, though it does make for good entertainment sometimes.

I do it more often while watching a movie(mostly Lord of the Rings or horror).
