The only times you should ever scream.

1: You've just stood on a plug (especially a British plug, those 3 pronged bastards).

2: Some twat just knocked over your pint.

3: When Skyrim is in your hands.

4: Your biscuit just broke off in your cup of tea.

Any other situation is unforgivable.
A plug? that's baby stuff, my feet seem to have installed some sort of magnet that attracts pointy objects, I've suffered puncture wounds from everything from toothpicks to screwdrivers.

anyways, on the topic at hand, I don't scream when scared, I've never found screaming to be at all useful so I guess my instincts leave it out of my standard reaction package.

Not really. I generally don't scream. Shouting is one thing, because then words comes out of my mouth. Just screaming and making noise is something that I've never done.

On a different note:

Por que?

No I don't but I did scream once (I'm not going to say it since it was quite stupid of me to did it in the first place) as an reacion from being suprise.

I dont get suprised really as seem to have a very good awareness of the world around me at any giving time.I can even remeber the last time something or someone managed to sneak up in me.

If i am scared i do the opposite normally i go quiet and serious.I do sometimes make a sacrastic comment.

I swear incredibly loudly but I don't think I could muster up a scream.

But yeah, going through all the foul words i've ever known as loud as I can usually covers me for moments some bugger has jumped out at me, physical pain, getting a bill through the post, having a jehovas witness at the door and is on standby for the moment one of my daughters tells me they are pregnant.

Shouting "Fucking hell!" is much more likely in my case, it must be said...

I'm fairly sure I've only actually screamed in jest, in so far as I remember.

There is no option for "sometimes".
Didn't ask how often you scream , just if you do it in general :/
"do you scream?" = yes makes it sound like I always do.
"do you scream?" = no makes it sound like I never do.

Therefor, my answer doesn't completely fit in one answer more than the other, which is why I answer "Sometimes".

I've never screamed, save the singing sort, except on two occasions.
Once was my first time on a rollercoaster, looking down from the top and the point right as you're going down.

And second was the link below. I've done all the scary mazes and screamers and stuff and it never got me, but goddamnit I lunged back the first time I did this. It's in korean, but just scroll down slowly. you'll see what I mean.

I didn't lunge back when

She jumped towards her, but I got the shivers when I saw her turn her head. I think I didn't get scared when she jumped, because I was more prepared and the frame rate went down.

Is it something I can punch? Well good, I punch it.

If not I either sit there and snarl or if i'm having a jumpy day I jump a little.

This made me lol pretty hard.

OT: I'm a chick. Therefore I scream.
Pretty simple.

I've done the girliest scream when having a bus come so close to hitting me I felt it's front window touch my nose. But I did that because I had friends watching.

Though recently I nearly got hit by some arsehole in a BMW, having to topple my BMX straight to the ground and cut my arm open to save a few broken bones (or even death :/). With that I only shouted 'woah'. So I do have a vocal response to fear, just not screaming.

Yeah, man that creeped me out... though I'm quite proud of myself for not flinching (though I did do a characteristic twitch/turn of my head when I'm creeped out/'disturbed').

Feign sleeping, or actually sleep... I was so knackered once (friends dragged me to a fairground), went on the roller coaster and I kid you not, I fell asleep. Woke up with my glasses at a funny angle and the operator (or whoever it was at the gate) giving me a very weird look... my one and only experience with a roller coaster...

OT: No, I don't. Instead, I flinch, accompanied by a short profane exclamation, usually of the 'fuck' variety, after which one of three things happens: one, I leg it quick; two, I hurl abuse with a grin on my face; or three, I roll up my sleeves and beat some shit out of someone or something.

I shout or jump, but screaming is not really my natural reaction to terror surprise, in fact i am more likely to laugh nervously.
