Do you shave? No, not your face, fellas. No, not your legs, ladies. More down south/up north. Bingo! The crotch! Do you shave your crotch? Not just trim, like everything, gone!

I do! Why, you ask? Am I a swimmer? A male porn star? Nope, I do it for comfort reasons. You know how itchy pubic hair is? You know how your junk moves around and painfully tugs on the hair? No longer an issue when you shave it all off! It's great! The fact more of your junk is visible is nice too.

As to how I got started, I'd bought a new electric razor. You see, my old razor could only handle stubble, not longer hair. My new razor could handle both! I wanted to try it out on some longer hair, but I didn't have any. So I was in the shower, glanced down and ah-ha! Shaved it all off and was impressed by how well the razor handled it. I was also impressed by how comfortable wearing briefs was now, none of the issues I mentioned before.

I've continued to shave ever since then and even bought a new electric razor designed for body hair. I've also tried some of that hair removal gel, but this only resulted in a patchy job and chemical burns. Maybe it was just a bad brand or something, but I went back to the razor quickly.

So how about the escapist? Do you shave your Netherlands? All off, none of this half-hearted trimming nonsense!

Guy, and nope, not doing it. Had it done before for operations in my high school days and I did not enjoy the result (humans kept hair there when we lost most of the rest of our fur for a reason). I don't get the irritation I hear people complain about, though maybe that has something to do with the fact I'm always wearing underpants, but that's a story whose explanation is for another day.

Ahem, it's called "manscaping", and I've actually had a doctor I know (re: my uncle who is a family doctor) inform me it's a better idea then shaving and that shaving down there is a generally bad idea for impact and head regulation reasons.

I.. answered the poll before I read your OP. Title tweak called for!

I do keep things trim and ready for action down there but I never go full-baby.

Yeah. But I do get lazy with it sometimes. Still prefer not having a veritable jungle of tangly hairs down there.

Once you had your chicken choked by the chicken wire or had an errant strand enter your cockhole because they're too long, that's when you'll seriously start considering a shave and a haircut down under.

Of course, nowadays I stick to just trimming it because stubble down there is WAY more uncomfortable. At times, it's like wearing a sandpaper jock strap. But the moments when everything is smooth is a strangely comfortable feeling. So I do recommend it.

The title is intentionally misleading for the purposes of comedy ;)

Of course, there's nothing more attractive that a hairless pendulous nutsack. Doesn't remind me at all of the film of Roald's Dahl's The Witches.
What if the girl has a thing for Roald Dahl? Like those women who are into clowns?

I can't say I've experienced any discomfort due to stubble, possibly because my skin and hair have become used to it, like the discomfort you experience when you switch to an electric razor. And I agree, I prefer to intentionally choke my chicken.

Body hair in general pretty much grosses me out. I don't shave often because I'm lazy but if anyone else is gonna see me naked, I'm gonna shave thoroughly. It's mostly for my satisfaction rather than hers', but I've been complimented on my smooth legs before and there's nothing better than rubbing smooth legs together.

Generally I just like smoothness. If I could laser all of the body hair from my body I would.

I trim, but I don't shave.

I tried it once. Never again. Crotch stubble is just the worst.

Well... nope. Tried it once or twice. Feels great if everything is gone... but i am too lazy (Also apparently not that healthy - broken skin, infections etc.)

So i just trim everything back one in a while.

Oh, also i have heard: Your penis might look bigger with no hair. (No contrast) So it is clear: Everyone who shaves his bush... has a small penis... umm

No. It's kinda like painting the back of your house or rust treatment under your car. Why bother with what non-one's ever going to see?

I considered doing it, but I'd rather not risk cutting myself or tearing one of those curly hairs.

That's another good reason; stubble makes you feel abrasion and changes in temperature in a region meant to be protected.

Too worried that the lack of a forest will make the mighty oak too intimidating. Or, more realistically, like stated above shaving isn't a terribly good idea unless you have the sort of skin where shaving does not irritate it. That's all guys or gals want to see, unsightly red blemishes above your genitals. If you're like most people where irritable skin is concerned, then trimming is the best option. But even that I don't care one dick's worth about.

Also, I find it hilarious that despite the poll results the respondents are 100% male. But not surprising.

If you had some desire to go for the Cueball-balls look, and you have sensitive skin do what the ladies do... wax. No stubble then, but jesus you had better get good and drunk first.
Nope.

That would be my only response if not for the cheap post rules. There's just no fucking way I'm going to do that.

However, I would point out to guys reading this to be sure that if you're not willing to do this that you don't be an asshole to your partner and demand they do it themselves.

No.

I trimmed it a couple times and even that felt... oogie. Pubic hair helps to disperse sweat, and for the nether regions it works as "packing material" as well.
