Poll: Do YOU sing while driving?

I live in Japan. You cant go through life without going to karaoke. So its expected that you sing at least socially.
But even if not, yes, I like to sing. My dog hates it when I do.

Some songs I'll sing a few snatches of the chorus maybe, normally I leave it to the professionals though!

Used to, but I've gotten really bad at it lately. Nowadays I can only sing along to songs that require a low pitch. Thin Lizzy, Johnny Cash, that sort of idea. Any time I try to sing along to the likes of Maiden or AC/DC these days, I just end up hurting and/or scaring myself.

I can also do a couple of Miracle of Sound songs, but only a few, and it probably sounds very different to me than it would to anyone listening.

For those of you who do, what's your favorite type of music, or specific song, to sing along to?

Yes I sing along while driving and no I definately can't sing. I have pretty much learnt all of The Gaslight Anthems albums by singing along with them. I have been listening to Devin Townsends "Epicloud" album a lot at the moment, possibly my album of the year and I try to sing along.


I try to hit those high notes, I hear myself and its...its just awful. Thankfully I'm alone in my car.

OT: I sing everywhere I freakin go, unless I'm on a very busy road.
I don't think I'm a bad singer but I'm certainly not good.

Yeah, it came out at the end of last month and to be fair I didn't know anything about it until about a week before when I read about it on the Download Festival forums.

My friend just burned me a CD with songs from My Little Pony. Guess who's been driving his car around for the past two weeks singing "Winter Wrap Up" and "Art of the Dress"?

I like to think I sing well. I was in choir and the music teachers said I was good. No idea if I actually am though.

Guess who's in the same boat you are? Well, except I burned my own CD(s), but the point still stands.

I don't think I'm that bad at singing, and I've been complimented on more than one occasion, but I'm not about to go around posting covers on Youtube or anything. I've also been pretty good at memorizing lyrics.

OT: I love singing in the car, even when there's peoples. I often try to harmonize with the lead singer, rather than just singing the melody. It's good practice
