With the expense of this particular hobby, I just can't afford any other vices.

Though as a younger man I did enjoy the occasional cigar.

I have asthma so I don't really need to smoke to make my lungs bad. I also feel like I could find more useful things to spend money on.

I'm currently quitting a lovely habit. It's getting too expensive, and my current partner doesn't like smoking. So eh, fair enough.

Although I'll kinda miss it. Smokers are generally sociable people, and it's a 'opinionated young fuckwad' repellent.

Nope. Never had any desire to start. Don't care if other people do it though provided they do far away from me.

I used to smoke. Quite about 6 months ago. Still have a couple of lighters hanging around because you never know when something might need to be set on fire. Damn....I miss smoking. I certainly don't miss the effects it had on my wallet though.

Nope, never touched the stuff. I have friends who are smokers though, and they're considerate about secondhand smoke, and also respect the rule of "No smoking in Mac's car".

Yup.
Maybe once a day or less, usually combined with weed.
Also once a day :D

Nah. Tried it once or twice over the past couple of years, couldn't really get into it. Even though I don't smoke I'm not one of those guys who gets pissed off at every single smoker around me, I just can't for the life of me understand that mindset.

Although I've had a few Cigars in my life during special occasions and what have you. Damn things are glorious. Go well with my pocket watch too.

Tobacco in cigarette form, no pipes. Just saying this thread won't go well. The self righteous non-smokers will probably be here in swarms soon to pat themselves on the back for being better than us walking cancer factories.

Hope. Never smoked. I'm far too cheap to buy cigarettes and never liked the smell.

Besides, I do try to be healthy. (Not too much fat/sugar, exercise twice a week, take the stairs up to the office, etc.)

I'm getting kind of sick of these threads, they seem to be the current hot topic now that the whole feminism/sexism debate has died down a bit.

Here we are, please watch this the whole way through

I smoke infrequently. Once a month I might buy a pack of 20 cigarillos, and they usually last a week. They're not meant to be inhaled, but I do anyway. I've been doing that for almost a year, and I don't have an addiction.

No. I don't want to pay to smell bad and slowly kill myself. I'd much rather spend that money on a good bacon sandwich. Still killing myself, but I'll smell great.

The reason why I carry tampons is the same reason I carry a lighter but don't smoke.

Everyone likes to be the hero.

Just kidding I smoke. Not kidding about the tampon thing... or am I? YOU DECIDE!

I actually smoke to make non-smokers feel good about themselves. I mean they just look so happy when they get to exclaim that they don't smoke! So I do them the solid of manifesting that which they despise, a reminder of what could be.

You're welcome non-smokers, you're welcome.

Agreed, non-smokers can be some of the worst people. Thankfully I've never had the problem where someone comes up to me and tells me it's bad for me, those people are so arrogant they think we don't know it's bad for us.

Personally I smoke vanilla flavored cigarettes made about 45 minutes from where I live. I get them for $1 per pack so it's a great deal.

I smoked back in MS, then quit in HS when everyone else was starting...

It was a bit...weird.

I put in previously since i have completely stopped smoking pure tobacco since 2008.
When i quit, i was at the point where it started impacting my over health. I tried my first cigarette when i was about 12 years old. Really (on a regualar basis i.e. half a pack or more) started when i was about 14-15ish wich continued until i was 18 years old.

When i was 18 my smoking went through it's peak, i smoked about (usually more) two packs of cigarettes (40+ cigarettes). This wenton til winter 2008, at my sisters birthday i decided to quit. Gave her my last pack as an extra birthday gift (she smokes aswell) and never smoked pure tobacco since.

Now for the funny part, i recently took a drag from a friend. . . Still somehwat surprisingly pleasurable. . . .

I'll never forget that first smoke of the day (when you've just woken up) with a mug of freshly brewed coffee. . . . damn so good. . . .
