No, though I have considered smoking a pipe for stylish reasons. I'm quite sure I won't though. I pride myself on my agility and I don't want to ruin that by smoking.

This, my friend, is a hookah, or shisha, or water pipe. It uses water as a filter for the smoke. The tobacco also comes in several flavors.

And no, it's not used to smoke drugs.

No, smoking just isn't me.

Just like pot people use any excuse to not exercise. I enjoy going out hiking, playing frisby golf etc. and enjoy a cig or two while I'm doing it. If you're a lazy person to begin with... don't smoke:)
Don't sterotype pot users.

I started smoking at age 14 for about 4 years. I tried it because all my friends smoked and I liked the mental sensation. I quit because the damn things were getting to expensive. That was 9 years ago, I can't imagine how expensive they are now.

I still think smoking is cool though. Yeah, I know, it's unhealthy and in the long run it can give you cancer. But in the end it's 'just a cigarrete' just as a glass of beer is 'just a glass of beer'. It's not the root of all evil or the Devil in disguise.

I smoke, and I love doing it. It's one of those little joys I look forward too most of the day. I take a puff and the rest of the world melts away.

To quote Futurama "I love smokin'."

I've considered it, but I don't as of right now, no.
Don't ever start. Tobacco ranks right up there with heroin for healthy drugs to be using. I'm all for legalizing pot and responsible drug use. Tobacco should've been destroyed completely years ago.
I love the way that everybody immediatly classifies heroin as being such a bad drug when in fact it is nowhere near, infact of all the 'hard' drugs it is probably the least harmful. Heroin itself decreases visible signs of ageing and, whilst highly addictive, the harmful side effects of it are low.
And when you think of the "debilitating social effects" there are almost none. A heroin addict on heroin is effectively returned to a base point.
A quite famous point here was an american doctor (his name escapes me right now) who was qouted as saying "of a heroin addict, an alcoholic or a meth addict I'd pick the heroin addict to perform surgery on me any day"

It is all the cutting agents that street level dealers (in other words scum) use to water down what was once a pure product that make it so bad.
As an interesting point everybody knows heroin withdrawals suck quite severe amounts of balls. How many people are aware that the withdrawals an alcoholic suffers can actually kill you.?

Would like to give it a try, just to have done it once. But no, I'll never seriously start smoking.

Tried it a few times when I was younger and an idiot ([sub]one may argue whether the latter has changed or not[/sub]), and didn't like it.

And is smells all yucky.

Nope. If I can't find one good reason to do something, I don't do it.
