Absolutley not. I am smart enough to know that most of the time when someone disses me they are only playing around, so I don't take it seriously.

I never take myself seriously. I don't see the point, and I hate people who are easily offended.

I've grown up with a family of people who just take the piss out of each other and then laugh their asses off about it.
So i've been brought up to just laugh things off, and yeah like you said i've noticed that the things my friends and i say to each other would really offend others, we honestly never care. xD

what i do take seriously though, is my will to kill off the idiots that fill my college.

It depends on the situation really. I can be completely serious or the exact opposite... when I do make fun of myself, it isn't in the usual blatant way that I've seen others use. My way's more subtle and sarcastic (towards myself). It doesn't always come off though, which has lead to many mistaking me for a serious person. But deep down, I don't care what people think of me...

If you can't laugh at yourself, you become a very sour person. Last week, I accidentaly went to the cafeteria instead of my period two class, so when I showed up late, I just walked right in the classroom and announced, "I am THE biggest idiot I know!". Needless to say, I provided a good lulz and everyone forgot the next day.

Plus, it's funnest to poke fun at yourself, because no one else gets hurt.

Exactly how I feel.

I have a serious scale that goes from 1 (being not serious) to 11 (being really serious). Internet is 2 and bad family problems are 11. I'm not just some Leon that spazzes out over ever Internet comment or criticism.

Although sometimes I have my "extreme sarcasm" moments, and in those I can be very cruel or direct (I once made a joke about a cousin of mine who died of a heart attack [she was 10])
