Not to myself, but sometimes I often say stuff out loud like "are you fucking kidding me?" or "that was kind of awesome". It's usually "are you fucking kidding me?" though.

I don't think this counts, but I make comments on what's going on, like, "The fuck am I supposed to do?", "The hell was that?", or "That's pretty damn stupid." Random swearing will pop up whenever I get frustrated with something, but not really talking to myself.

Rarely. Oddly enough, playing games is when I talk to myself the least. You should hear me when I'm walking to down to town. It sounds like a three-way conversation.

All the time. I play a lot of RPG's so it ranges from swearing to mumbling out some numbers and running strategies in my head. My buddy was watching me play FFVII and talk myself through materia set ups.

I constantly talk when I play games. To people around me, to people online, to myself, to the computer, to anyone or anything really. I also move my body when trying to escape/avoid things (like playing an FPS or a racing game for example).

Let's just say I'm an enthusiastic gamer.

I don't think the kind of stuff that comes out of my mouth when I'm playing some games counts as "talk". Unless you can make a sentence entirely out of: you c*** juggling thunder c***, I'm going to effin murder your godd*** a** when I revive.

LoL receives most of the brutality, and rightly so, the little shit.

Quite alot. I played HoI3 last, and I spent alot of the time trollololing at Japan.

"Oh, you've been kicked out of Beijing again. And now there's enemies all over manchuria. Still haven't got around securing Nanking, have we?"

Honestly, beyond eating up nations like Austria and Abessinia, the axis in my altered WW2 timeline isn't very threatening...

Correction, when I play strategy games I sometimes talk to myself, especially Sins of a Solar Empire. Vocally give orders to my ships and whatnot.

I talk to myself out loud almost all the time anyway, at least when I'm thinking. So if I'm playing something mindless while eating lunch (FFXIII-2 comes to mind, at least during the combat sections), I won't, but at all other times it helps me get immersed into the game and understand what is going on better. Actually, people hate watching TV with me, because I always end up commenting to myself about what just happened and what I think will happen.

Sometimes, but then again I talk to myself even when I'm not playing games, usually when I'm daydreaming.

I talk all the time, more lucidly when others are around me. The worst thing I've ever said comes from talking to the game; I was playing Call of Pripyat and, after being told to investigate something, reiterated my goal as "time to shoot up a kindergarten". It took me a few seconds to realize what I had just said.

Once in awhile it's fun to voice the protagonist, if she's silent. For the most part, I don't talk unless co-oping or swearing at a glitch.

n horror games I talk to myself in order to maintain a focused mindset while going through it. While I play mw3 I talk to myself in order to not break the disk into a million pieces. I'm not bashing cod I actually do this.

Only when I'm angry and I keep having to replay the same part due to my inability to survive.

If no one is around or I get seriously pissed off I'll talk to myself, to the game, to the developers, and sometimes to the developers' mothers.

If I'm really relaxed and immersed I'll stay silent because I'm concentrating, but few games reach that level of mental involvement for me.

Depends on the game.

Sometimes my trap stays shut, sometimes I direct obscenities at the enemies hacking away at my torso.

If I'm playing an RPG that I get into that happen to have a silent protagonist, like the first Dragon Age, I'll actually read aloud the conversation prompt that I choose.
