When you work closing shifts in a Target backroom and your by yourself for hours on end, it is inevitable.

Yeah but i don't think it's as bad as working in Target in the front and the only thing you can listen to is the drivel of each customer. I have had plenty a conversation with myself of those horrible days.

All the time, I narrate my life and yell at videogames and make noises of discontent when I mess something up while playing. It's a fun party

all of the above and sometimes when others are around i talk to myself and they think i'm talking to them........and the best thing half the time i don't realize i'm doing it

Sometimes when i am writing a story (or not, for that matter) i will have a whole conversation with the character, fleshing out minute details about them, and ask their opinions on my life problems, and the world's affairs. I'm fucked up.

I do a lot. I'm talking to myself right now. No joke. I read somewhere it's a sign of good mental health. That your talking things out even if it's just with yourself. Some people wear earpieces to talk to themselves in public. I'm not that far gone but it's better to talk things out then it is to keep them inside.

Kinda sorta not really. Sometimes when I'm thinking something that I heard or read, like a quote from a movie or game or funny post, I'll think it and then catch myself whispering it. It's weird.

I constantly think about stuff, and sometimes those are conversations I start playing back in my head trying to redo better, so occasionally I end up talking to myself.

I've got to practice doing voices somehow. I regularly hold a meeting of many minds, bickering about one thing or another. Yeah, I get funny looks when I'm in the car, but if they could hear a 50s gumshoe detective arguing with a Native American giggalo about where to buy the best ham and cheese sandwich, looks might turn to laughter.
