Not out loud, but I do have quite a bit of interior dialogue if I'm alone. Helps me make sense of philosophical or any generally speculative and contemplative points.

I talk to myself a lot. I don't really know why, but sometimes I just start rambling on to myself for no reason at all. Some times I do it when I'm around other people and I get some rather strange reactions. My uncle once thought I was possessed by the devil because I was talking to myself, that was an interesting family reunion. I was thinking, is it really that crazy to talk to yourself? I can't be the only one who does it... and if I am, well aren't I just special.

LOL look at the poll, apparently there are 9 retards on escapist!

I do, but not intentionally. I just end up saying what Im thinking, and then arguing with myself every once in a while. No big deal, really.

I often talk to myself, especially on the can. I think it's a good way to keep in touch with yourself, as weird as that sounds.

Yes but i try to keep it to a minimum in public.

I build up alot of stuff in day to day situations. Instead of blurting crap out and getting myself hated i tend to ramble aloud when i'm alone. And sometimes i just monologue to nobody.

Sometimes when I'm bored, I'll start a scenario in my head. So far I've conjured up a whole conversation with Tom Hanks in an elevator, questions I would ask Chuck Palahniuk, and what I would say to any girls who would walk up to me.

Should I answer this? I don't know, maybe. What'll people think of me? I don't know... Ok, I will.

No?

Yeah, but not in a crazy way in which I respond to myself.

I'll just start randomly talking. Like I'll start ranting about random shit. Not to anyone, just begin talking.

I find it comforting
This.

Sometimes I have full-on arguments with myself, with a dominant point of view usually putting a worse argument across...

I think the winning argument is called reason.

Yes, all the time. I am the only one to understand my own thoughts and words.
indeed, i say something in school, and every person in the room ignores me, or, if they hear, me, listen then point out something like me being stupid, and that i don't understand something, so they tell me, but i already knew that, and just said it, but they didnt understand what i was talking about.
its hard being around middle school children. they're a bunch of idiots.

I talk to myself a lot, especially when I'm trying to fix something. I don't even realize I'm doing it sometimes, so the reactions I get from people are pretty funny.
