Nope, not even when people are asses.

Except, of course, when screwing around:
Some games are just perfect to screw around in.

Only when they and they are doing stuff like trapping me in a room, or trying to kill me first.

Or when I am playing with friends because we team kill each other all the time.

I only do it accidentally. If someone is being an ass, it's way better to boot them than to kill them back.
See above...

Sucks when they boot you for an accident though.

I TK in Halo: Reach when someone is in the game but just sits there afk, then if they boot me send them a dirty message about how they should exit the lobby if they are going to be afk not just sit there.

I only TK my friends when it's the most funny moments.

Otherwise it's just accidents. I never try to TK on purpose.

It all depends on my mood. If I'm bored, or if we're losing with no chance in hell of winning, then I just kill the nearest thing to me for fun.

It's great fun to do in Halo and Mount & Blade.

I team kill for several reasons: they killed my friend, they killed me, they are being disrespectful to teammates, or they are being a retard. I never straight up teamkill just to do it.

There was one guy in Alien Swarm who kept running ahead and welding the doors shut.

I simply roasted him with the Flamethrower (I was the medic so nobody could heal him)

I admit I enjoyed watching him burn to death.
Wow. Cruel. Nice touch.
OT: yeah, if they TK me spitefully
I once accidentally TKed someone on MW2 that was on a 3 KS on hardcore and they were cool about it. Saw someone crouched behind a car, so sprayed it. Unfortunately, as I hadn't looked directly at him, it hadn't come up saying his name in green, indicating he was on my team.
Sorry again man, and thanks for being cool about it

Other than that, only if someone else on my team has made it clear they plan to keep killing me, someone else on the team, or just everyone on the team if they can. In that case I will shoot them on sight. Usually these douchebags will leave the game after you've killed them once because they realize we aren't going to sit there and let them raise their K/D ratio for free.
This. That video explains it all for me on Uncharted (about the only multiplayer online game I play right now.) Also those random jerks that run around shooting their guns at nothing at all and blow up other teams members. Any other time it's an accident, such as a bad timing on a grenade toss/rocket launcher/grenade launcher shot.

No, it's highly counter productive. On top of that, i don't tend to play games that allow you too, if cod4 and MW2 allowed it on certain types of multiplayer, I didn't play it long enough to get there.

I don't team kill, I just boot (or leave if the game doesn't give that option). I don't get why people team kill. How is it fun? All they're doing is pissing people off. Is their existence so sad that they can only find joy in causing at least some amount of misery for others?
