I really don't think we need St. Patty's Day observed. The country isn't largely Irish and we've already got too many Christian holidays.
But, that said, I'm all for it. My favorite holidays are the ones that keep it simple: "Get drunk and have fun with your friends." Really, they need to observe the day after St. Patty's so we can sleep through our hangovers.
