No, these "tea parties" are moronic displays of greed, selfishness, and an unwillingness to sacrifice for a country they claim to love, and I'm sure the god they claim to love is ashamed at them too.

I might have past the first two points if the spelling and grammar had been looked over. If you're going to try to incite animosity via politics, at least have the decency to check your diatribes first.

So protesting against a government that is spending us to hell and back is selfish? I mean saying hey no more bailouts, no more money for people who spent foolishly, and all that jazz is somehow based on greed? I think wanting the government to control itself is a good think.

Since when is a letter a number?

I disapprove of this entire event, if nothing else because they are wasting perfectly good tea. *COUGHbastardsCOUGH*. Excuse Me.

What exactly do you find "greedy" about not wanting to shift our current economic troubles onto our children? That's the OPPOSITE of greedy. The ones who want to spend future generations' money so they don't have to suffer themselves are the greedy ones. They are making things harder for others so they can be more comfortable. How is THAT not greedy? Not only is it greedy, but its irresponsible and stupid.

Also, to the extent that this orgasm of public spending would actually help us out, wouldn't opposing it result in our making greater sacrafices today? So how can you say that THEY are the ones not willing to sacrifice?

Your post makes no sense. All I see here is a regurgitation of liberal propaganda that Republicans are nothing more than greedy rich white people and anything they like must be automatically opposed.

And for the record, I'm not a Republican. I'm a Libertarian.

I think the author is trying to say that he is pissed about our current economic state??? I for one agree (if that?s what he is saying) and I also think people should be allowed to protest about any issue in any way they chose as long as it doesn?t hurt others.

Is there any one else who clicked this thread and read it because of the bad grammar in the title? I couldn?t help but read it with a small twisted grin on my face. It was like driving slowly by a car accident.
