I have noticed a pettern with advertisment. After a game has been hyped on on XBox with a things like interviews with the devs, avatar costumes, and countless videos, they usually turn out rubbish or average. This happened to me on 'Crackdown 2', and I vowed never again to trust marketing ever again.
I see that history is repeating itself with 'TRON: The Game'. It has all of the above, plus an exclusive multiplayer session with one of the stars of the movie. In one of the interviews, the one thing that the developer was most ecited about was that you could level up your character in single and multiplayer. I also noticed that he tried to draw as little attention to the actual gameplay as possible. What I did see looked a lot like the free-running from 'Assassin's Creed', except bad. Plus, the light cycles looked like they would get old pretty quick.
Of course there is the most obvious flaw.
It's based on a movie.
