Whatever I attempt to be, there is a selfish turd in my soul. The best I can do is to suppress it and try and get over it, other than that, it keeps coming back.

No, I don't think I'm a particularly good person. I try to be, or I'd like to be, but, when it comes down to it, selfishness and flakiness always seems to trump my armchair idealism.

I satisfy my own ethical standard of not causing discernible physical harm to others, and hence consider myself good (enough).

I do this, and I aslso try not to cause emotional harm. The greatest enemy to my good-natured self is my laziness. If I wasn't lazy I'd probably be sleeping out in the cold because I couldn't afford to waste the travel time that would otherwise be spent being nice. But as it stands, I'm a lazy teenager (only about 4 years behind the rest of my grade), so I tend to be nice when the opportunity slaps me in the face, but otherwise I just let those same opportunities wander around aimlessly in the distance, not bothering to help them on their way.

OT: No I don't think I'm a good person. I try my damndest to be and fail to live up to my own expectations nearly every time which, in my books, does not make me a good person.

Well... I haven't metaphorically walked on anyone to get where I am, but I have killed a person or two for a cause I consider unjust... and I reap the rewards from it just the same.
I'm honest to a fault but brutal enough to be shunned by many. By and large I hate the societies we've built but live in one and follow most of its laws anyway.
I would sooner feed and shelter a homeless addict than turn 'em out... but I would kill 'em without hesitation if they threatened me or mine.

I consider good and evil to be nebulous labels at best... so I say "meh".

Every alignment test ever invented in the history of the world says I'm neutral. But I think, in all honesty, that's just when I'm caught in a good mood. (I love alignment tests for some reason. Not sure why myself) If I were truly trying to role-play in inFamous... I'd be screwed.
