I'm pretty sure I'm a little bit mental. Not batshit running around a carpark with shoes on my ears crazy, but I think my perspective on things can sometimes seem a little skewed.

Then again insanity is sometimes defined as not conforming to social norms, so everybody is a tiny bit insane to some degree.

Edit: Actually on second thoughts, insane isn't the right word, I'm just a bit neurotic.

I am pretty insane indeed. I often cant tell the difference between dreams and reality, thus creating some awkward situations. I sometimes talk to my friends about something that happened in my dream, thinking that it really happened and that they were really there.
i get that sometimes o_O
and sometimes i get really bad De Ja Vu, thinking ive done this before with my friends and they've all said the exact same things, turned out i dreamed it XD

My perceptions differ a lot from the rest of every society I've heard of. Since I'm far less of a danger to either myself or others than the average person, I'd say it's not insanity, since that's defined by how non-functional you are. In my case it would be the opposite. I'm far less likely than an average person to go killing anyone. I'm far less likely than an average person to rape, to mistreat someone, or to use violence. I'm far less likely to have "negative emotions" than an average person, such as hate, anger, or the like. I'm far less likely to hold a grudge than an average person.

The translation is that I don't, whereas a normal, average person is quite likely to, in the right circumstances.

My views on some matters are also considered very controversial, and in some cases even alien. I'd suspect that sort of counts, expect again, my way is better.

I know this sounds arrogant, and it's not meant to come off that way, it's simple observations. I would be happy to teach any one of you, but I'm afraid it wouldn't carry unless it was in person, communication online lacks much of what I'd need to say.

Yes. I've been thinking these awful thoughts lately. The kind that have been telling me to break things

When I was at school doing my GCSEs they said I should see the schools nurse who was specifically trained as a psychiatric nurse which supposedly made her fit to do counselling. anyway I was telling my friends about some of my OCD tendencies and when I thought about conversation I'd had or would have with my friends in my head and predict if they'd turn out any differently. and a friend phoned my mother about this and told her that I was showing signs of schizophrenia and had been smoking a lot of cannabis. so of course my mum told this to the nurse and she spent several sessions trying to get me too see "Simon he's really nice, and says he's very interested in seeing you" I'm terrified of doctors to begin with. so there was no way I was seeing one who actually wanted to see me because I may have something serious.

I actually went through that famous film scene where the guys talking to the therapist shouting "I DON'T HERE ANY VOICES, I tell you I'm sane damn it" except instead of them going "of course you don't I believe you" then pressing a button which made people in white coats retrain them, inject a sedative in there neck then put them in a straight jacket in a padded cell. she went "of course you don't I believe you, but if you see him we can be sure that your all okay?" but she said it in a tone which really really suggested she didn't belive me and kept saying things to my mother like "the amount of anger this brings up in him suggests that he is hiding something" and writing notes. and I found out at this stage she couldn't do anything so I stopped seeing her.

all in all I'm positive I'm sane my friends told me they do the same thing.

I keep thinking I am somewhere else, really it is fucking weird and sometimes aggrevating.

I am my own worst enemy, and I have conversations with myself.

I hear the achievement sound at random times too.
Sometimes, for no reason, I'll be completely sure that I'm not where I think I am.
Also, one time, I was watching TV until I realized it wasn't even on. That was a very strange experience, realizing I had been watching TV for about five minutes in my head.
I also have some quite strange OCD tendencies.

There is a saying that goes something like "Only sane people think they are going crazy; Crazy people think they are getting saner."

I tend to think that I'm relatively sane, no matter what the voices tell me to do.
