Once did Karaoke once, was an Elvis Presley song, Elvis Presley now roams the lands of America trying to find me and kill me, Let's just hope he never figures out were Barnsley is.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo (woops wrong key).

But seriously I can't. Recently our school did a talent show with me as host. Before the finale I sang terribly on purpose (wasn't too difficult), I made my voice sound worse (really screechy and up and down etc.). Someone shouted out "you're great!" and I just started to laugh.

I can sing a few songs. For example, the Buffalo Springfield song "For What It's Worth" is in exactly the right key so that I can sing it well.
But I can't sing much else.

No, but that's never stopped me from butchering The Beatles every few minutes...

I'd say at best I can sort of sing, but in front of people, no. (wasn't surprised when I found that out while doing karaoke trying to sing 'All Apologies' and 'In Bloom'.)

I hate doing stuff in front of people.

The teenage years are not the best time for singing.

I can never get the right note.
Yeah, I think that too. Teen years are not good for singing. Though I was the frontman of a band for about a week...and they said I could sing, meh...they were probably lying.

I sing "Hello, Goodbye" by The Beatles when I'm putting my groceries away.

And I've been known to sing "Hello City" by The Barenaked Ladies whenever I walk to the store or whatever.

Almost everyone can sing. It's a question of whether or not you sing well. (I don't.)

I own at Rock Band...so yeah.
Don't you just have to hit an approximation of any note it wants you to sing though?

Hell, I managed to gargle my way through singstar once and got a professional..

Post a video next time it happens :) Great song, after all... ;)

Anyway, no, I can't sing. That is, it depends. I don't seem to be bad at screaming lyrics, like a heavy metal singer (which is ironic since I don't even like heavy metal, just Nu Metal and then softer rock and indie). The stuff I like to sing, I'm really bad at. Weirdly, I could apparently sing decent classical stuff before my voice broke, and I was in my old school choir until I got bored and quit.
