I can sing. Not extremely well, but I can. I'm the singer in my band

I sing sometimes on Guitar Hero: World Tour but never in front of anyone as I think I am terrible at it.

I reckon I can sing, but I don't like the sound of my own voice; too low and it gets whiny sometimes. I was the lead in my school musical though, so apparently my thoughts aren't simply the outcome of some blind fantasy.

EDIT: incidentally, has anyone here tried out for their respective country's Idol show? I wouldn't be bothered trying for Australian Idol because I really just hate it.

I cannot hit high notes for the life of me, no matter how relaxed my throat and jaw are. But I can sing. I just need to work more on high notes.

I was in a chamber choir for most of my high school career and, while I am no longer in a choir, I still practice and train my voice every day. Not to be some singer or anything like that, but simply because it is fun to sing well when you want to.

The tone of my voice is poor but on a good day I can hold my notes; I've sung live and not been bottled or booed.

I *know* I can't sing, but that doesn't stop me from letting loose while karaoke-ing. Besides, I'm still better at karaoke than anyone else who ever tries while I'm around.

I'd like to hope I do. My mom said I could sing very well, and she's in a choir, but I haven't had the courage to sing in front of friends or anyone else, so I don't know.

I can't sing, but at least I know it. I have this friend who is convinced he's a good singer, but he sucks. He keeps telling me my copy of rock band is broken because it keeps failing him, when really he just has no sense of pitch.

I sing in a band. With no prior training, which explains why I can sing only 1/10 of the songs I attempt.

I've been a singer for most of my life (professionally trained for 5 years) and so I can sing in tune etc. Being a teenager means my range varies quite a lot (some days I'll be able to sing really low, others I'll be able to sing higher). Any human being that has the ability to talk should able to sing, it just takes practise before you'll be able to sing in tune all the time.
