IGN sells their ratings for games. After reading many of their reviews, it seems like the reviewer hadn't even played the game. All they did was recycle what the publisher had already said about their own game for advertising purposes, while ignoring any and all flaws, no matter how prevalent.
It's simple: Pay IGN in some way (advertising, free stuff, etc...) and you get at least an 8/10.
