Poll: Do you typically finish a game or get bored and play something else?

I try to finish games and also when nothing decent is coming out i'll go back and play old games again. I try not to buy a game if i'll get bored of it, that's what reviews are for.

I normally play a game from start to finish unless it's a sandbox game or I've bought multiple games at once or in a short time frame.

I just played Metal Gear solid 3 from start to finish and I almost thought a few times "i'll play X for today and get back to it next chance i have" but i am one of those people who get distracted easily. I really enjoyed the game dont get me wrong its just sometimes you feel like a change.

I pretty much complete the game most of the time depend on what type of game it is. If its rpg then I tend to play more after completing the story (it depend if there are extra stuff after the story). If there is no worth while replay value after finish it the first time then I just moves onto the next game.

Play Normal difficulty (it's probably what the developers intended).
If I like it, and it grabs and holds my attention, finish it at all costs;
multiple times, if I still like it, but it needs 'more'; mod the hell out of it.
If not, let it languish on the HDD, come back to it later;
if it still doesn't appeal; uninstall.

Eh, I usualy play whatever the hell I feel like at the time. That usualy changes before I complete the game, but sometimes I actualy beat games. I don't think, however, that I've ever actualy beaten a game and played ONLY that game untill I beat it.

When I say finish the game, i mean the story line or campaign, not 100% the tropohies/achievements.

For me, I really try to finish games and if they aren't engaging enough to finish, i will get rid of them.

That being said, you don't have to finish every game, just what do you NORMALLY do?

Question isn't really fair for me. I play RPGs almost exclusively. I can't really be expected to only play Record of Agarest in the 100+ hours it takes to beat it.

I usually jump between a lot of games, then once in a while I make a big push with one to finish it.

New games I like I will always finish right away. On replays or with not so enjoyable games I will often quit halfway and continue a couple of weeks later.
