Poll: Do you use eBay

The question is in the title. The reason I'm asking is because I used to visit quite often, then for some reason I stopped and now I'm going back to it again. Although the only thing I use it for is if I'm looking for something that is hard to get hold off, whether it's a game/merchandise, anything like that.

Only today I bought this Limited Edition Pikachu GBA SP fully boxed with all the manuals for the cool sum of 192 pounds.

My answer to the poll is that I only use it when I'm searching for something that has either gone out of production or is just very hard to find.

Personally, I've never used eBay. I prefer Amazon, but I suppose if you're looking for extremely rare items then eBay is the way to go.

I use Amazon more. Never searched for anything much on eBay. Worse prices, and I hate watching auctions to try for a good deal.

Hell, I'm never looking for something so obscure that Amazon doesn't have it.

I use it often but not for everything, I dress kind of oddly and I like "obscure" things I guess but buying online can be iffy - mostly because of the post - so if I can get it somewhere else I will.

THOU ebay is cheap, which is good. I love Amazon too.

I do not use ebay personally but i have had people get stuff for me from there. However when i'm selling stuff i use Craigslist. It's more local for me and i prefer that.

I've only ever used ebay twice, it was for a Dragonball Z dvd boxset and the second time was for a couple of Resident evil novels. Which were pretty good.

I've only used it once if I can remember correctly, and that was to buy another PS2 so me and my brother wouldn't argue over who gets to play anymore.

I use it if I need to find something that I can't find easily in stores.

I've never seen the attraction to eBay. If I want something, I wanna be able to buy it for definite, at a reasonable price. With eBay you have to bid for things, then either get disappointed if you don't get it or end up paying too much for it. I just don't get it when you could go on Play or Amazon and find great stuff cheaply and be able to buy it as if you were in any other shop

I use eBay all the time. I've bought books, games, shirts, a German helmet (WW1), Spam (the meat product), rare DVDs, a monocle (which I never use), moustache wax (which I always use), a Stetson hat - the list goes on.

No matter what you want, eBay is the place to go!

I used it fairly recently to replace a single disc of a two-disc retail product that had been scratched. It was really good for that.

I should use it more often to save precious monies.

I don't use either, but have accounts for them both.

I just prefer not to use that kind of shopping, despite the security, based on concern for the fact that people (generally) are misleading.

Amazon won't let me buy games, so I use ebay.

I was an ebay addict back when I worked, now I only go on for certain games and rare items.

"Amazon won't let me buy games" I'm sorry, but i don't know if you realize how stupid that sounds. there are a ton of games, including collectible editions, for a lot cheaper than you can find on eBay. I don't even know why i ever used eBay, when there is Amazon.

I use ebay for buying and selling stuff all the time, I also use amazon but just for buying stuff.
