Inverted for controllers, not for keyboard and mouse. I pretty much always use a controller though, even with PC games.

I'll invert the x-axis sometimes if it only affects the camera. Usually, it's 3rd person games, where i'm moving the character with the keyboard or left analog stick and the camera is tied to the mouse/right stick. I find that some games (can't think of an example off the top of my head) have the camera move backwards to what i'm used to.
