I don't own nor do I plan on getting a Facebook account. Everyone in my home from my little brother to my mother owns one, but I just think I will be the exception. Mainly because I just don't want to hassle with it all the time. I like it plain and simple, which is mainly why I have a Twitter instead.

I use it, but I don't like it. It's good for looking through pictures of attractive women keeping up with my friends and arranging events, but that's about all. I'm sick of those stupid "like" groups or whatever they're called now and the spam is insane. I like it as a way to keep in touch with people I don't normally see all that much due to distance (and, occasionally, large bodies of intervening water). And it's free!
yes. really there is no reason not to use at least one social networking site if you have a social life. im not saying everyone should play farmville and spend x hours on facebook a day, but its a very good way to keep up with your friends, to check up on parties or events, and of course the free giveaways and contests.
