Poll: Do you use/like facebook?

Yes, I do. Although, it's been a heart-breaker lately. Every hot and interesting girls that I meet has a boyfriend. I discover that fact on Facebook.

I used to, but don't any more, except to post on people's walls on their birthdays if I can't talk to them in person.

I found it to be nothing more than a place for cool people to exercise their coolness and uncool people to endeavour to be like the cool people.

i use it but not every fucking moment. my mate genuinely just told the world "shave, shower, bed LOL". this guy is great but on the WWW he turns into an uninteresting git who 'LOLs'. for shame

I use it mainly to organise events and keep in contact with people during the holidays etc.
Although I honestly don't know how people can spend hours upon hours on it, theres barely anything to do!!

I use it as a way to connect with old friends who I haven't seen in a long time. I have heard people saying what a "vile tool it is. All it is used for is gossip. I am glad he finally closed his account" (that may not be the exact wording).

I hate Facebook, but then again I hate all those social networking sites. Just personal opinion I guess; I haven't a need for a Facebook.

I use it. I like it more than MySpace, which I don't use anymore. I really only use it to keep up with friends who have moved away.

I use it (gotta keep in touch with the ladies, right?) but it is a piece of CRAP.

Honestly, maybe I should just convinvce my lady friends to start using xfire or steam. So much more easier than facebook. Even skype is better than that.

I use Facebook on a regular basis, but I don't like it, I'm more 'meh' at the whole Facebook thing. Only reason I use it is the fact that school is boring and chatting with friends on Facebook is better than nothing.

Yes, it's dumb, and I spend too much time on it, but it's all in good fun and it's a great way to keep in touch with people you otherwise wouldn't be able to.

In a way, but to much less an extent than those sites. Facebook is throwing pictures up there and updating your 'status' many a times. You can also talk to random people on there but they're quite more random than the selection of people here.

On this site, it's more about the forums. I can weigh my opinion left and right on subjects such as this, or I can go to the User Groups and just have friendly conversation with people who are almost assured to have a common interest in things I have.

All in all, this is the lesser of two evils by far.

I can see its advantages and why people like to use it. But personally I do not care for facebook or other social networking sites.
