Personally , I always use it , but I only go for the weak ones , because they aren't so oily and protect you for a longer period , also it's resistant to water . The more powerful ones tend to wash off you when you enter the water and I cannot stand applying it every time I wanna go for a swim.

So , what's your opinion? Maximum protection , the one that lasts for the longest or you don't use it at all?

( If anyone wonders why I'm asking this , a lot of my friends don't use sunscreen and consider that only pussies go for it o.0 )

I have to use it because I have very bad skin

So, yeh, I don't know the number, but it is very high up there.

In my whole adult life, I have used sun screen once. I only got the stuff after I had gotten second degree sun burns. I was trying to keep it from getting worse.

Needless to say, there is such a thing as 'too late.'

I live in Australia close to the southern-most tip of the mainland. And in the Summer going outside for a minute causes your entire body to be covered in serious burns even if you were covered in clothes. So I choose the maximum strength.

Nope, the sun doesn't shine that much in Sweden, it's usually very cloudy where I live, and my skin colour is darker than most swedes due to heritage, which protects me further from the evil sun. And I don't go out that much.

I do my best to make sure my skin and the sun see as little of each other as possible. Usually I'm fairly successful at it so not much need for sunscreen.

Isn't that Wilson's Prom?
Down here we Slip (slip on a shirt) Slop {slop on sunscreen SPF30 or higher) Slap (slap on a hat). If you are Australian and aren't wearing sunscreen during summer you are either an original inhabitant or an idiot. Tassie despite being cooler is worse because they are closer to the hole in the Ozone Layer. Mad dogs and Englishmen...

No, as i live in a country which is renowned for its bad weather. As a result, when the weather is good, I under-estimate it, thinking it wont be that hot, and shun sunscreen. Caused some uncomfortable experiences.

Always during the summer. I have pale skin and I burn like a piece of toast. I use at least SPF 35 whenever possible.

I use it if I'm going to be down at the pool for several hours during the early to mid part of the day, other than that, I don't bother.

I am the whitest kid I know. People tell me that I am simply glowing. I always use the maximum protection stuff, but it doesn't wash off, so once is enough.

I use it. I'm on the beach a lot, and I really really don't want cancer (though I'll probably get it anyway, stupid genes). 30 SPF really does enough, though. It blocks out 97% of UV rays.

I use this stuff:

Considering I'm a red head and I have very fair skin, I need my sunblock. I always put it on if I know I'm going to be out in the sun for awhile. It helps protect my delicate skin. :3

I'm a gamer. I'd be stupid not to. =/
Although, I'm wondering whether you're asking about all the time or just when I go to the beach. Cause at the beach I do, but then I'll just use whatever everyone else is and I just assume it'll work. If I had a choice I'd probably go for the one which lasts longest though, since I don't want to have to continuously apply new stuff and you want to leave room for a bit of a tan right? (Though I'm given to understand that the difference between UV-A and UV-B is factored into modern sunscreens.)
At all other times I don't apply it, but then I do wear a cap from time to time and I usually wear jeans, even during the summer, so that would just leave my arms. In fact, negating that gag I just did about being a gamer, I never actually get burned (apart from on Internet Forums) when I'm not at the seaside. The only exception I can think of when wearing clothes is when I was on a sailing trip; and yeah, now that I have been burned sailing, I think I'll be applying it next time I go.

Every now and again. My roomie gets on my back about it, but I forget pretty much constantly. I have an olive-toned skin though, so I've never gotten burnt. I wish I could stay pale, because I think pale's pretty, but I don't want the hassle of putting on lotion all the time.

I live a mile above sea level, so yes, sunscreen is required if you want to be outside more than about 30 minutes. But I don't really care if it's the longest lasting or best protection, as long as you use something it's better than nothing.

I look like I belong in Twilight, so I can choose between burning up in the sun like a vampire should or HQ sunscreen, usually the latter.
