Poll: Do you use your console for things other than gaming?

Netflix, Hulu and DVD's/Blu-Rays. In fact, those three things are what I'm doing on my PS3 most of the time.

I only use my XBox for games, although, this one time I may have watched a DVD on it.

I also use my Nintendo DS for dust gathering. It's very good at it.

How do other people here use their consoles? Is it the vast majority games, or do you make 'em do other tricks too? To what extent did non-gaming capabilities of a console influence your decision to buy/not buy it?

I sometimes put my food or drinks on it when there's no more room on the table.
Come to think of it, I do that more often than actually turn the damn thing on

I play the occasional DVD on my Xbox, and sometimes the music player if I want to watch the trippy visualization-software thing.

I watch Netflix on my Wii. The selection sucks though.

I use my PS3 for Blu-rays of course. I sometimes stram things from my 360 thanks to Netflix, mainly because that allows me to watch a movie while playing a game on my desktop. Other then that... not really. Watching movies/TV is generally it. Not much else you can do I think.

Surprisingly, I just use my ps3 and Wii for netflix, and my PC for games, though i will occasionally pull out a game and play it every once in a while.

Yeah! I regularly watch blu-rays, stream tv shows from my macbook and listen to music on my PS3. If I have enough free time, I can easily spend the whole day on it, one way or another.

I've not played a game on my PSP for a long time now. Although I do use it to listen to music, watch videos, and read manga.

Also, I considered buying a PS3 mostly to use it as a Blu-Ray player, and also to access the internet.

I use my PS3 for music, movies,internet and games. My Wii is just a Netflix machine, and the 360....well, that's pretty much only around for when Mass Effect 3 arrives and the few JRPG's that were exclusive to it earlier like Infinite Undiscovery and The Last Remnant.

My ps3 gets used more for blu-ray discs and netflix than games. I guess i should find something to do with my old blu-ray player that's just collecting dust now.

I use my Xbox to play DVDs from time to time, but that's purely because I'm too cheap to replace my broken DVD-RW in my PC. I think I also rented a movie once off Live.
