I am guessing you know the answer but: culture. There are many, many, who say they think about sex all the time just becuase everyone else talks about having sex all the time. This creates a circle: one says these things becuase that persons thinks the other expects and says the same thing.

Give that behavior some time and we get a culture that expects people to think about sex, then add the "stated" fantasy of switching sexes- gender-bending and ergo- thats why peoples thoughts turn to sex first.

Most that say "she so hot" and "I would Bone her" just try to fit in what they think is "the way it should be". The same goes for "gender-bending" and "playing around" with the femenine parts, just something people say without any real meaning or intention.

Probably not, although I wouldn't mind switching the hormone balance, as apparently there's a big difference. (males have been treated for prostate cancer by changing their hormones to those of a female, apparently)

Also I would probably miss the implicit advantage of being a middle class, white male, aged between 18-40. Although it would be interesting to see if people treated me differently.

At time of typing I am male, and while I would be curious in a "day or two" kind of way, seeing how offensively creepy a lot of guys get when it comes to girls makes me kind of glad I don't have to deal with that. Also bleeding genitals, I don't need that.

I would love to experience being a woman. I don't know if I'd want it to be for the rest of my life though. I'd certainly want it to be for a fairly significant amount of time though. Maybe 2-4 years. I don't think that a few days, or even months would be enough time. With a few days yeah, you could go out, have a fling and see what sex is like, but there is so much more to gender than what sex is like. I'd want to be a woman for at least a few years so I could get a more well rounded experience. I would love to find out what it feels like to be oogled in the streets, have guys hitting on you, rather than being the agressor in that situation, see what it is like to be a woman in the workplace, whether or not I would be treated differently. Experience what it is like to dress up in all of the different things that women get to dress up in. What it is like to have PMS, and a period. Get to know what it is like to what pregnancy scares are like, maybe even what pregnancy is like. There is so much to being a woman besides sex, and I would want to experience it all.

I'm fine with my current set of genitals. Being a woman requires a lot more self upkeep than I could muster.

I'm transgender and intending to get SRS in a few years (hurr durr too young? parents? durrr), so I guess I qualify for the "stay for rest of life" option.

C'mon, who doesn't want to be Shepherd?
Video game jokes aside, sure, why not? I'm not saying I'd be happier (to me, all the women I've met complain A LOT more than my guy friends do) but something to break the day to day repetition of the world would certainly be nice.

A few days might be fun, but beyond that is a toss up. I would just spend those days playing with myself. There really isn't anything special.

2 days, sure. Just to see what's so fascinating about having a weener to throw around.. :p

Then again, I fear I might start enjoying beer and football. That's a scary thought.
I have been a dude for as long as I can remember and I don't like that stuff. You should be fine.

p.s. Not that fun actually.

I would go for it. I don't really have any attachment or even liking to my body now, so a switch to female would either make me value my current self more (which I frankly find unlikely), or just be a step in a better direction for me.

Yeah definitely. As a male I would have a greater potential to become physically stronger. I'd have greater freedom to do what I like without being stigmatised as "butch" or "slutty", or otherwise restrained by social perspectives on the role of women. I could even piss where I liked, and I wouldn't have to bleed out of my vagina every month.

Well, I'd really rather prefer all-around shapeshifting ability but sure, love to have it happen for a bit. If it turned out to be permanent, yeah I could live with that, too. Then, I've taken gender tests and had a few deep thoughts to realize how little the sex of a person means.

Or, how little it SHOULD mean, anyway.

Plus if I didn't have to wear a bra, where would I keep my cigs and phone?!
Those would be called "pockets."
Just to tack on what he's saying, as a guy, you get to "look good" in looser fitting jeans with deeper pockets.

As for me? I might for a day or two just out of curiosity, but as other's have said, there's so many little bits of upkeep that I just really can't be assed with. (I keep my hair short cause it's thick and it's a pain to mess with when it get's longer.)

Put me down in the "day or two"-crowd, though I'd rather be able to swap at will.

I'm a man and I'm quite happy and comfortable in my own skin. That being said I've never felt very "connected" with what would be considered "manly". Thus I'm something of an in-between kind of person. I don't desire to be a woman, but I certainly don't want to be a man either. I'm quite happy just being me.

So if I were to be able to swap between the sexes, that would be optimal I'd say :p
