I once snapped NFS: Most Wanted in half because I was tired.
And to be honest stupid.
Catch up mode for NPCs in racers makes me go insane!

Haven't ever broken one because I was angry. I'd regret it like hell later. I've only ever broken a disc of DMC1 because I couldn't get it out of the case properly. It's still the only one I haven't played yet......

I don't need to destroy my game discs, my 360 does that for me.
Really? How?
By burning a perfect ring in the disc if you so much as breathe on the console when the game is in it. Said disc is then rendered unreadable. Happened my Halo 3 and Fallout 3.

What is it with the 360 and rings?

Did they deliberately design all the major faults to match the name?

Oh, I misunderstood the poll. I haven't ever broken a game on purpose and I don't think I ever would: I'd just sell it on if I hated it that much.

Once or twice, game discs have shattered whilst in my computer for some reason, causing major damage and meaning I had to replace the drive. Really annoying.

My cousin has a Halo 3 disk that has a huge crack in it, but he just borrowed mine (when the NXE came out)... (He installed it to the hard drive and uses his disk, as it doesn't spin)

Um no, I have never intentionally broken a game, however there has been a few console crashes which have lead to game breaks.

Dude, if some1 is breaking a video game it's a spur of the moment rage thing. They're not gunna be all "oh some guy on the interwebs said i should send to him. i guess i wont break it."

srsly
And if someone on the internet in a fit of rage writes a almost unreadable piece of text in a spur fit of rage they aren't going to be all "ye well some guy on the interwebs told me to spell properly on the escapist" are they.

I would not break games on purpose anyways (controllers perhaps). Your post may stop me from breaking it but I will sell it for my self. sorry.

I didn't technically destroy my original Mario brothers/ duckhunt, my nes ripped the guts out of it. Kinda like it was sorry that it was beat so many times and wanted to put it out of it's misery.

Yes, I shattered my WaW disc yesterday because I was fed up with how awful it was. I'm not going to keep the game around just for Nazi Zombies, especially when I can never connect to anyone in it. Thinking back, it might've been a smarter idea to sell it, but that game has caused me waaaaay too much annoyance.

i remember seeing videos when the ps3/360/psp etc came out, of a guy buying each on their first days of release and destroying them. i wish he'd just given them to me instead...

I laughed at your reply... And, at least it doesn't get broken...

Never really broken a disc in a temper, as they're usually safe enough in the console... but I do have a dent in the wall, and two broken controllers, courtesy of FFVII and... I can't remember what the other game was. Blanked it out of my memory, I guess.
