Poll: Do you watch bad shows

Since for the most part what makes up a good or bad TV show is a matter of taste then the only three viable answers in this poll should be either no, only for my own amusement or I try not to. Unless we have some people here who like to watch what they consider to be bad TV just to have something to complain about.

Well if what we are talking about is what you like than yes it is up to the person and there taste, but there are clear differences in quality in terms of production which is what I think the OP was getting at. I think it is good you bring the point you made forward however.

I have every episode of the O.C. is that a bad show?

If you ignore Season 3, I think the OC is a lot of fun and miles from bad. Despite how stupid Season 4 is, Taylor Townshend made up for that big time.

Back on topic: I've watched many many episodes of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, which is just a worthless show. No redeeming value at all outside of the massive potential for making fun of it. My old roommates and I made a drinking game where you drank every time they talk about sex. You don't need any more rules to run the risk of alcohol poisoning

I also watch One Tree Hill and Switched at Birth on a semi-regular basis. Each is of dubious value, so that could count as bad to the right observer

I watch bad shows, like CSI and NCIS. They aren't bad because of low production values or bad acting. They are bad because their premises for each episode are batshit insane and their grasp on modern life is completely alien as if written by someone with the practicality of an adult but the experience of a new born baby. However those 2 reasons make the show a larf. It's good in it's surreality.

I like NCIS on balance (it has some problems), but I had to give up on CSI after the last Fishburne season. It just got godawful.
