After viewing this commercial about a year ago I started wearing my seatbelt constantly. I usually only wore it when I was with my mom or grandfather, or in my friend's vehicle.

Here is the commercial in question (Don't know how to embed, sorry!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nI9_BTm41MI

Note that I am not religious, but the video still hit me hard.

EDIT: Watch the video I linked to. It may change your mind as well.

I wear it just because of the cops. If they weren't everywhere I'd just say screw it and not wear it.

Yes, because I'm not a moron like some people that see it as uncool.

I occasionally let it slip when I'm a passenger while driving with someone I completely trust. If I'm driving or a passenger in a friend's car then I'll always wear one.

It is there for safety. So of course I will make use of it.
"Better safe than sorry" < I practically live by that saying, most of the time. kinda.
So ja, I always wear the seatbelt.

I like risking my life doing something stupid as much as the next guy but not wearing a seatbelt is just plain foolish. I wear one all of the time.

In cars yes, on coach trips no.

They always make them so tight on coaches dammit! And besides how can you stand up and shout at people at the other end?

I always wear my seatbelt. Always have, my parents ingrained it into my mind at a very early age. Naturally they checked if I was belted when I was a child, but once (when I was 5) we were in such a hurry with my mother that she didn't check me.

I still belted myself in.

Lucky, wise, obedient me. Wise parents to have taught me this way. Because on that day, we had a crash. A bad one. Belt was the only thing that saved me, and my mother to this day blames herself for not cheking my seatbelt back then, and thanks me for having learned the importance of seatbelts at such a young age.

Whenever I'm driving, the car doesn't start until everyone is belted in. And the seatbelt is the first thing that I secure whenever I step into a car.

I also have an apprehension against the public buses. Rarely do they have seatbelts. On local buses I always sit in the back (but not the last row). Less of a chance for injury in the case of a crash.

I actually think it's pretty comfy as long as it isn't strangling you. :3
