It has it's moments, but mostly it's just muh.

i love it, watched it none stop from the start of the "New re-makes", (eccleson) and havent looked back, now overally excited about the whole new doctor thing but hopefully will still be good
duh! Been a fan for over twenty five years. Yes, I am an American to boot! Love the old, love the new and even love Colin Baker...

One of my favourites. Watched since Jon Pertwee was the Doctor (they were repeats, I'm not old enough to have seen his episodes the first time around). It's a different beast nowadays - hell, all of TV is. The writers have done really well though, for the most part. Didn't think much of Eccleston, but Tennant was fantastic, one of the best. Billie Piper was amazing as the Doctor's companion; her successors haven't come close, unfortunately. Only wish I could un-watch the Slitheen and Absorbaloff episodes.
In fact, it's close to my family's heart for another reason: my father's connection to Delia Derbyshire, who created the theme music; they were both part of the British electronic music movement of the 1960s and '70s.

Doctor Who is fun, but unfortunately it sufers from not being taken serious as a Sci-Fi show right from the start.
You can see theres alot! of plot holes, most of them due to the series massive amount of writers that came and left and no official Dr. Who bible.
But anyway me favourite Doctor is Patrick Troughton the 2nd Doctor.

You can never be sure until you actually see them on screen. All you can really do before then is just hope that they've picked him for good reasons.Leeathal said:

i used to love it but them i started watching heroes which is a lot better imo
