I dislike summer. Cold, bearable. Get another sweater or shirt and you're fine. Heat, you can't escape it. Go into the coolest place in the house and you'll still feel warm. I hate that. The winters are too short for my taste.
Summer is always hated by me because we have both extremes this far north. We usually get up to ninety if not one hundred. Either the sun is up and it's boiling or the sun is down and freezing. Need proof? Winter up here is sometimes TWENTY below.
Temperatures are in Fahrenheit because America refuses to be scientific.
I like the summer, though it's rare we get nice summers here in Scotland. Though the temperature has been around the 21-24 C mark the past few days, which is great! It makes escaping the office at lunchtime a genuine pleasure, as opposed to the more frequent dashes between shops to get out of the pouring rain.
It's just a pity that for the rest of the day, I'm stuck indoors doing work. Maybe I should have gone into education after all...
