Great song! Akon's my man. I love every genre except country and really ghetto rap though, so I'm not sure my opinion is very good.

Yeah I hate that song. Always have. Hate Akon too. But I do like Dizzee Rascal's Dirtee Cash.

Sounds like every other bit of tacky Europop, with the only exception that you've got some guy singing through a vocoder, instead of some bird singing about "Being in Euphoria", or "in Extasy" or whatever.
So first off, I like this song. I've heard it on the radio before, and I enjoy it.
I'm seeing a lot of hate for it, but most of the justification for that hate is that "it's simply not your taste in music" or "it's not metal." So really, why don't you like it? Is it not complex enough? There seems to be a huge community (not just on this site, everywhere) of people who won't listen to anything in a simple 4/4 time. Is is such a crime that music should be accessible? Music with complexity has its place, but so does pop, and saying that you can only find complex music enjoyable makes people sound soooo pretentious that I want to blast "Sexy *****" just to drown them out.
I feel like people only hate pop music to be non-conformist, and I have a whole slew of problems with non-conformism, but that's another topic for another thread.
Oh, and when autotune is used to distort the human voice rather than correct it (like Kanye, T-Pain and Akon do), I think it sounds really cool.
