Poll: Does anyone remember RuneScape?

yeah i played it then got bored of it then some how won a years membership then played that out then got bored of it after about 6 months of casual play but it got its hooks in me early and even to this day i sometimes think about going back

Sorry for the semi-necro post, but I felt like I really had to reply to this topic.

This game helped me achieve my current level of knowledge of the English language, encouraged me to learn to make websites due to me joining a fan site (and to a great extent programming in general, which is now my job), taught me how to manage a time schedule and made me meet a whole lot of people - learning a young boy a lot about the nice and the ugly people roaming on this sphere we call home.

I still play the game semi-regularly. The past few weeks however I've spent a lot more time playing the game seeing a new skill came out and I don't want to fall behind. So yes, I still remember RuneScape, and I'll most certainly never forget about it. I don't think I'll keep on playing it my whole life, but who knows? I've been playing it semi-regularly for the past 11 years now, so I've gotten quite used to it by now...

Heheh, played it twice. Back in 2004/5 I played it a bit, then in 2006 I played it a lot. Gave it up in 2007 and played WoW for monthly bursts at a time from 2007 to 2011.
