Huh, the only poll option is yes - should I take this to mean that it is an absolute certainty that I know somebody with an iPad, even if I don't know that myself? Is it really that popular? Maybe if you changed the question to "do you know someone who knows someone who owns an iPad?" - that would make this one-option poll even more prudent.
Well, I picked yes..... I was going to pick no, but the poll made me doubt myself. I have no interest in actually touching the thing should I get the chance - it's a big, retarded square. The whole "touch-screen" thing never appealed to me much in the first place.

No. I don't know anyone who even wants one. I know people who have tried one in the shop, they all said that they suck.
An iPad would be a fun thing to have around, but I can't see that it justifies its price tag, tbh.
No, I took a look at one and it was too constrictive and in my opinion not anywhere NEAR the price they were asking for it (I know Macs tend towards the retardedly overpriced ANYWAY, but this still seems rediculous).
I am however waiting for Ebook readers to get settled down and finally hammer out a universal format, so that we can work on quality and delivery systems rather then fighting petty battles for unit supremacy.

The number is useless because you don't know how many people don't know anyone who has one. Also people like pressing poll buttons so it could have a few people pressing yes just to see the number of yes votes.StBishop said:

The only person I know that has actually bought one is some kid at my school who has a raging hard on for all things Apple related. I've never seen him use it or talk about it that much though. If you ask him about it he will say it's the fucking coolest thing ever though.
Yes, someone I know has got one, the only thing I did like was some Fish pond app where you could fish. It was fun for about 3 minutes.

Well, other than to collect dust once the realization has set in you've just brought a very expensive dinner tray and that if you actually tried to use it as said dinner tray it'd probably fail at that.
