Death is easy. Getting old is terrifying.

I've found I've become increasingly more "scared" of death after I got pregnant.

Anyone who can view it as "you're born, you die" is cold indeed.

Cold for being realistic?

Someone who says "I don't want to die" is being no less realistic about the fact that they will die - they'd just prefer not to.

So, cold in the sense that it doesn't faze that person in the slightest.

Personally, I know it's going to happen so I don't spend time thinking about it - if I do think about it, it's pretty scary.
