Poll: Does Rush deserve a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? If Michael can do it, why can't they?

rush are pretty good but there are better prog bands that aren't on there either eg King Crimson

Oh yeah, there is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame isn't there.

Anyways I can't name a Rush song, so sure whatever. They probably made an impact on some people.

I've given up on the Rock and Roll hall of Fame. They have some bizzare requirements to get inducted, and then seem to induct whoever they feel like. I realize some of the bluesy and early pop stuff that led up to rock and influenced it should be included, but when there are groups like ABBA getting inducted before Rush, Yes, or even Thin Lizzy, I think something might be wrong.

It's kind of turned into the "All music before 1990 Hall of Fame" as opposed to an actual "Rock" hall of fame. That being said, as a diehard Rush fan, I will continue to ***** and moan and place boring threads on messageboards until I see them get in.

There are plenty of people that just haven't made it in. One reason is they have put lots of bands in the amount of time they've been around, and people criticize them for putting to many bands in too soon. There are a lot of deserving bands, I think rush should definitely be in there but they will at some point give it some time.

So far the rocking roll hall of fame is a foot note in rock n roll history. They've got some catching up to do with all the great artists that have come and gone.
