Ba-dum-dum-psh?

Dum-der-der-dum-psh-psh-dum-psh!

I don't really think that an avatar can affect words. I see them as a cool picture.

I love the idea that my avatar changes the way people react to me and I am more then happy to try and live up to the level of awesome it implies.

You can easily see that mine affects responses a lot. The ones who do not understand fail to see the meaning, and therefore will make irrelevant references. The ones who do understand I believe will be either indifferent or will have a deeper insight on how to respond.

I'm not sure, I've never really given that much point. Generally if I agree with someones point I would post that while giving my own opinion, and If i don't agree just post my own opinion again.
While we're on the subject of avatars, I'd like to say that I approve of yours. STC was the greatest comic ever.

OT: Sometimes I like to releate people's post to their avatar in a trivial way. Like the same way as what Oscar Wil... er, Zyphonee said.

I don't believe people right differently due to their avatar's, but you might subconciously interpret something differently because of it. Beware that it is in the nature of the subconscious to create stereotypes. At best it can keep you alive, at worst it might make you a douche.

When people have a non-human avatar, then generally no. But if it's a person I imagine them saying whatever their saying with the expression their avatar is showing.

Which is why I think I come across more pissed off to people than I mean to...
Or more awesome! Everyone <3 Wallace Wells!

Hmm... I don't think I judge people by their avatars, but that might mostly apply to those with non-humanoid pictures.
No, scrap that. A funny avatar usually leads me to interpret people's comments less seriously - bright colours do that...

No, it doesn't.

There are three things I refuse to tolerate. Cowardice, bad haircuts, and military insurrection.

With so many anime-related avatars about, I've learnt to just go on the comment.
Don't know if mine affects anyone's opinion. Only changed it from Stephen Stills on his guitar a day or two ago, so you lot might still be getting used to it.

Because you totally all know who I am. Right? No? Okay...

I don't know exactly how people would interpret mine in regards to what I say, but I don't take the avatars too seriously in how someone posts. Sometimes the can accentuate what someone says, but I don't think many posts are judged like that.

Also @:FreelanceButler, Darkwing Duck is awesome.

I can only think that it may curb any urge I may get to troll, as I would not wish to besmirch the image of the almighty Mike Patton, voice of Portal's Anger sphere. (ok,ok, and a ton of other bigger stuff! )

Nope, I was just going through a Helghast loving phase when I joined and I haven't got around to changing it yet.. maybe I'll do it now..

I generally keep a certain air about my profile however, I keep all comments respectful and with at least some manner of intellect and modesty.. A picture of upper-class, Victorian Gentleman should do the trick..

Well I doubt many poeple recognise my Avatar, as it's a beer from a tiny Hampshire brewery. if they do, what can they think, that I'm drunk? Not always.
Avatars don't really affect my opinions of posts, but I will check out a profile if I think it would be relevant, mainly to find out nationality.
