Tomorrow is my 15th birthday and to me...It doesn't matter at all. I am almost getting tired of the whole birthday thing people always will come up to me and say "Oh hey happy birthday!!!" or make a big deal but it's just another day to me. I feel like this is something that should happen to people when they are 50 years old not 15 but tell me do you agree?
[Edit] My birthday present this year is the first day of school so i cant even celebrate it on the day of

I gave up celebrating my birthday a while back now.
It's just not that important to me now. The only thing that happens now is that I get a tiny bit sillier every year.

Which is awesome. :D

Happy Escapist birthday!

On topic; I get manga as birthday presents, so it does matter.

Don't matter to me.
Just another day.
Just another excuse for my boss to try to be awkwardly friendly.

Eh. my wedding anniversary is in the same month and a few days after my birthday so that kinda killed my birthday the year I got married then last year it was all about the 1st year anniversary so I'm not expecting much or anything this year. Plus I have to work on my b-day.

I don't bother about others' birthdays and I hope they do the same. I don't see the sense in it...

I take the day off work, hang out with whoever wants to, but it's not a big deal to me.

It was my 20th birthday two days ago (this Sunday just gone). I went to my grandmother's house, where she did me a little birthday dinner and a home-made cake, along with a card and some money as a present. I spent most of the afternoon trying to get an old-fashioned Super-8 projector working, which we eventually did (that was actually pretty fun and interesting, and it was present enough that we got to see footage from my parents' wedding 22 years ago).

My family being in Gran Canaria on holiday (I wasn't with them because of university stuff), they arrived home in the evening, and we went for a meal together. They gave me cards, some presents (a game, a DVD, some CDs and a book), and some money to make up for not getting me a gift from the holiday (which I didn't expect anyway, but thanks to them anyway :D). Overall, it was mostly a normal day, with the added bonus of having presents, cake, and a meal out for once.

My point is, I had a nice day on my birthday, yet nobody made a big deal out of it. I had a few cards, plenty of birthday messages from friends through Facebook, and it was a generally nice day. Meaning, why should I have to have a big fuss made over my birthday for it to be fun? No reason whatsoever, and the fact that it was fairly quiet made it more special.

That being said, for my 21st birthday next year (which is also just a couple of weeks before my dad's 50th), I'm going to pull out all the stops and have a really memorable birthday :D

My birthday isn't that big of a deal. I'm too old to bother nowadays, and while I was growing up, we didn't really celebrate birthdays. The family wasn't that into celebrating things at all...

I usually celebrate my birthday by getting obnoxiously shit faced while my friends try to keep me of trouble. This kinda upsets the fiancée, since she tries to make a big deal out of my birthday.

I like any chance to get twenty bucks in the mail from some distant grandma or something who I'll never see and probably wouldn't like.

That said, I'ma be 21 in two weeks. THAT birthday matters, but none after that.

Mine apparently matters to some people.

To me, not all that much. All it means is I accomplished my goal of continuing to live. I suppose that's worth celebrating a little bit, but I celebrate that fact daily.

I haven't given a shit about mine in years. Last friday was mine and although it was a very nice day out, it was just like any other. I woke up, went to work, went home and saw some people saying happy birthday over facebook.

I haven't even been enthusiastic about any 'special day' since I became a teenager (I'm 22 now). I have treated every holiday and special event as any other boring day, although I will celebrate other peoples special events out or courtesy if they invite/ask me to.
