Poll: Does Your Mind Fool With You?

A lot of times, I pick a spot on the wall to stare at. A few seconds later, they spot appears to move in strange circular motions and the rest of the wall starts to move like beach waves.

...Obviously my mind is fooling with me. Other, more extreme things have happened than that though. Does yours do the same with you?

Umm yea there all kinds of optical illusions and little tricks you can play with vision, mind and how the brain processes information. its you know like normal. There is a few cool utube vidoes that will mess you up by staring at them.

I used to experiment all the time with that when I was little. Still do occasionally. I enjoy it, it's like doing mini brain/eye exercises in playing with perception and such.


...As for the cake, I was actually just considering baking one. I'll have to dig up GLaDOS' recipe.

Yeah, mine plays tricks on me all the time when I see something like a reflection of light from outside come in through a window. If it moves, I'll always think that someone walked directly past the window, even if I'm on the second floor. lol

Yeah, I used to do that sort of thing a lot.

I used to look at posters until the person/thing in them moved. I'd say it's normal based on how many people are reporting seeing that sort of thing.

I always see people and animals out of the corner of my eye and then when I look theres nothing there. Also I talk to myself, I'm not weird am I?

Well, sometimes I see spots on the wall that move a lot, faces of people on the floor(especially when it's marble) that go away when I blink. Oh and my personal favorite would be when I hear someone calling my name...when I am completely alone. I must be losing it..
