I would donate blood but I can't because I take Adderrall and I would have to be off of it for quite a while before I would be allowed to donate. What's wrong with bit of meth?

I believe the subs for this particular series are far better than the dubs, unless they actually got some good voice actors to redo it >.>

as strange as that sounds...its not a homophobic issue. it has to do with that the chances of them missing an STD are a significant chances higher...its weird i dont know all the details but yeah...thats the reason...

Unfortunately, that doesn't quite seem to be the case over here. They do thorough checks of all the blood that is donated. So it does seem quite homophobic, at least in the male partnership field.
I'll have to ask them next time I go to donate blood, maybe they can clear up this little exclusion of a group that could donate...

God I hate that shite. Sorry to harp on it, Grey, but it gets my gander up like no other when I hear about the anti gay blood donation tripe. You could be the healthiest, cleanest person in the world with only ever one loving partner, but don't you dare try to donate blood to save lives if you are a homosexual! -_- So ludicrous.

Funnily enough, they allow female homosexuals to donate blood, just not male ones.
And of course, they also bar you from donating for 12 months if "You have had oral or anal sex with a man who has had anal sex with another man".
12 months. Not forever. If it was an STD, I'm sure it wouldn't just feth off in 12 months >.>

Nope just being gay automatically means that you have evil blood whether or not you've had sex because as everyone knows gay people are the spawn of satan.

I don't go out of my way to give blood, but if I see they have a station set up in a church hall(or whatever)whilst I'm out and about, I go in to see if they're interested in what I've got.

I think it's a nice(and not too difficult) thing to do.

I would give blood, but if you get tattooed or pierced I think they won't let you donate for a while, 6-12 months, maybe more.
I can understand why, but I think it's kinda similar to the fact that they won't let you donate blood if you're gay, as if any practise that deviates from the norm makes your blood into poison..

I wouldn't donate because the last time i've had blood taken i almost fainted. And it was just two SMALL vials (i'm sure it about 100 ml in total, or less than that.) When the second vial was half full, the blood stoped dripping in and i almost fainted. So, no i don't think i would donate. Also, that slogan sucks. Trying to built trip people into doing this is not the right approach.
