Poll: dont spit in my soda

I would wonder why someone would take the time to get a sticky note and pen, write a note about not messing with their soda and then stick it on a can that will eventually have condensation which will make the sticky note fall off, when they could have just chugged the soda rather quickly and then be off.

I empty them both, then leave a sticky note that says "don't worry.. I didn't."

I like the way you think! Other than this, I'd leave them both and walk out. I can't work out why I'd do anything else...

Why would anyone assume someone is going to spit in their soda? Where do they come from where there is such a threat of saliva in your soft drink that they are paranoid about it?

I'd replace both cans with glasses of orange juice. It's healthier.

Then I'd wait for the owner of the cans to return. I'd hug the owner and walk away without saying a word.

I would just leave them alone, since they aren't mine. But this does remind me of a funny story from a friend of mine. He was at this party and he was using either a can or a glass to spit his chew in. He was kind enough to attach a sticky note marking it as a "spit can." Well someone managed to miss the warning and drank out of it anyway.
