Explain to me how a video about a cutscene makes you stop playing it...?
Anyway, my answer is that it didnt affect me at all.

I rarely even see intros, but that's because it's very easy to disable them on PC games.
For console games, I rarely play those that have unskippable cutscenes/intros.

Honestly? Yes, I think so.
I love AC 1, but having to watch this stupid traitor talk for 20 minutes before I can start my mission really bugs me, so I play the game less often.
Plus that game had some graphic problems on my PC, every cutscene with Desmond had normal sound but awfully slow video. Mostly they were done with talking about half a minute ago but the lips still moved.
I have it too. It's caused because your hardware is utter shait my friend. It runs perfectly if you have the adequate power but once you lack somewhat you have the same problem with me, it doesn't synch. Memory leaks might occur too.
While I admit that my hardware might not be exactly new it still runs the game perfectly smooth while playing it and Altair sequences have no problem whatsoever with synchronized audio and video, only the Desmond parts in between are really fucked up.
Not that I care too much, this part of the story isn't too good anyway.
