Hell yes!
The beta is great when you consider it's essentially as much fun as playing Diablo 2 to Blood Raven would be (read, not that much fun at all).
I can't wait to experience the whole thing and possibly make like $40 a year for playing a video game.

the fact being that diablo II is my favorite game ever, i am ofcourse looking forward to the sequel.
My missus plays WoW so signed up for that year long oojamaflip to get Diablo for me.
She was playing anyway so thought she may as well get another game out of it but doesn't like anything other than WoW or Sims so I get it.
Of course i'm looking forward to it, it's free for me.
She was going to paying the WoW sub anyway so i'll take freebies where I can.

Got access beta off a competition from this site.
It was simplified to the point of not being able to choose where to allocate points when levelling up.
The always on-line DRM (that basically what it is) that meant the game lagged and occasionally drop out on occasion.
I'm giving it a miss.

Anyway, yes I am excited as hell for it. I can't believe it's less than a month away, considering how I've been waiting for this game for years. I've eaten up every bit of info since I've heard of it, and it's looking fantastic to me.
The DRM scheme almost turned me off from it. But thinking back on D1 and D2, i ALWAYS played those games online through battlenet. Even if I played by myself. So it really changes nothing for me, although I understand why it would for others.
I love Dungeon Crawlers, and I've played a ton of them with my friends. it's a format that will never get old for me.

Not really , it looks WAY too slimplified . And diablo 2 wasn't even that complicated to begin with . Choose a class , kill shit , level up , choose a skill tree , put skill point in said skill tree , distribute stat points. It's a shame because i played so much diablo 2 back in the day .
Not having played the first few games, I say yes. I enjoy those games, and it definitely looks interesting to me. However I'm going to wait and see how it turns out before I invest in it. I may end up buying one of the older ones if it's crap.
When you say "ruined Starcraft" do you mean the story/lore, or the game play?SajuukKhar said:
I found SC2 to be just as enjoyable an online/competitive experience as SC1. Maybe not QUITE as tightly tuned as Brood War, but still miles better than the usual comedy routine of PvP balancing.
Still patiently waiting for Heart of the Swarm. Diablo III may be worth checking out, but HotS is where it's at for me.
