It's all done, for better or for worse.

I'll be getting it, as it looks more streamlined, but not remotely to such a degree as Mass Effect 2. And the Rogue looks to actually play like a Rogue. With nimble movements and all. Unlike most Rogues, which are usually just stealth characters in most games. I am very mad about being forced to play as a human with the dialogue wheel, though.

But it still has stats like Strength and Dexterity. And skill trees. And all that good shit. Me likey that stuff. Me likey that stuff with respec of some sort more...but me still likey.

It looks really cool so far as I can see from videos and previews. Definite first day buy for me.

I honestly don't get it. What's the big deal about it being released on time?
And no. I'd didn't find the first one fun and I doubt I will find installment number two more amusing.

I'll be getting it, I really liked Dragon Age: Origins, so another game set in that world, I'll be interested in. Whether or not it'll be a day one buy for me, remains to be seen. I disagree with some of the choices they've made, for an example being forced to play human, as you mentioned.

Besides that, knowing Steam, there'll eventually be a sale, where this game is bound to be there, with DLC and all that. Besides, I've got a pretty extensive backlog of games right now, that I have to play, so there's really not much point for me, in buying it right away, spending more money than I'd really have to, considering I have so many other games to play.

Off-topic: How the fox do you make an inverted A in captcha, when you're asked for that? Just a regular A or what? Oo

Maybe. Still not sure. I didn't like how inadequate the 'Normal' difficulty made me feel in the original, nor the fact that I just didn't feel particularly involved in the combat, so perhaps all this "streamlining" could improve the Dragon Age experience for me. We'll see.

I preordered on Jan 4th to get my Signature Edition and I'm itching to play the Demo they are releasing on the 22nd.

I am dubious about playing Dragon Age Legends since you have to play it on Facebook, which is a virus ridden cesspit I extricated myself from almost a year ago... but in game items.

Have it preordered, I was worried for a while but all my concerns were put to rest for the most part; plus this one looks to have decent RPG stats, meaning maybe they'll do more for Mass Effect 3's RPG stats

I would first day if I wasn't getting a PS3. I'll be getting exclusives first. Honestly, the new visual design, race locking, and the dialogue wheel have turned me off of the game, not to mention any streamlining done. After Mass Effect 2, I don't trust Bioware in the RPG department.

I'll be getting it. It does look to be streamlined but in a way that doesn't eliminate the RPG aspects, which was one of my favorite aspects of DA:O.

As much as i liked DAO, i'm gonna be too busy playing the classics, like the Baldurs Gate Trilogy...
Trilogy?

Edit: ...and no, I won't be getting it. At least not until I get round to getting the first one.

The fact that "OMG! BIOWARE! MUST BUY!" has more votes than "Yes" scares me a little.

I dunno. I love DA:O, but the more I see of this, the less I seem to like it. The skill trees are so minimalist, the interface looks... eh. And it generally seems not up to standard.
I'll probably end up getting it, but I just don't know when.

PC Gamer review said the combat was actually deeper than the first, but more reactionary and involving as well.

OT: Yes.

PCG review was overwhelmingly positive. I get the feeling this whole "streamlined" argument has gone way too far - you get a dialogue wheel and you have to be a human. Big wow.

Stats are all in there, party combat is a big focus, choices and their affects are being made more apparent. Same Dragon Age, better game.

I liked the first but it was too long for not enough fun. I don't think I'm going to be getting the second one. Of course, my friend will get it and I can just play at his place.
