I haven't played The Witcher 2 yet, but from what I've heard... it's a bit on the immature side. People tell me it feels like it was written for 14-year-olds.
Do tell how it's on the immature side.
The 'difficulty' aside, there was much more effort put in the development of the Witcher 2. No copy-paste environment, in fact, each environment you visit looks unique and meticulously crafted.
Beautiful, really beautiful background music unlike DA2 (only Fenris's theme seemed to have had a pro working on it).
And unlike DA2 again, I felt the theme of racism, sexism and all of that nitty gritty realistic connection to our past society, hell, scratch, make that our present society, because there are still part of the world where a good little pogrom happens every time Joe_B annoys Joe_A.
Also, every dwarf you might save from bullying is not a scoit'ale (sp?) unlike the mages in DA2 whereby everyone of them seem to be a blood mage.
Multiple stories in one package, yes, depending on who you choose to help in the primary storyline, you get to visit entirely different cities/villages, meet completely new people, that mean you can't find everything through a single playthrough.
There's more to add, but I have to go, but yeah, explain why it's immature, please.
