Poll: Dragon Age 3 Expectations

Well according to the Escapist, Dragon Age 2 was worthy of 100%, so therefore Bioware can do absolutely no wrong and DA3 will be critically acclaimed even if it's awful.

It will be awful. It's Bioware. They're no longer the same company. It's like Bioware's face has been ripped off and EA is parading around in it.

EA and Bioware's strategy has always been about massive short term profits with little to no care over long term ramifications. Their terrible games DA2, ME3 and TOR will have created a lot of word of mouth.

I expect to wait it out, and buy it in a bin around $5-$10 dollars and then see if they've won me back or lost me completely.

Linear corridors? You sir have a very skewed idea on what a linear corridor is. You've obviously never played DA2 and really it's the first time I've seen or heard anyone complained about DAO based on 'linear corridors'.

I'm not sure what you were expecting DAO to be but it's not TES (oh no! that has caves with linear corridors!) and more varied environments than ME2 for sure. To be honest, the game is already long enough as it is without having to include a sandbox environment.

I expect it to be quite good. Origins was fantastic and DA2 was decent in some parts, so I'm just averaging it out. Cautiously optimistic I suppose.
