I enjoyed Origins because your character didint say a thing and it was a much better action rpg than the sequel most people disliked dragon age 2 because it felt too much like mass effect and I thought bioware were doing something unique with dragon age. My point being do you want to see a dragon age 3 if yes what do you want to see improved and if not why?

I enjoyed Dragon Age 2, not as good as Origins but it's not the terrible game people make it out to be. A mix between Origins and DA2 would be perfect.
Although I'm really not a fan of BioWare anymore so I guess I'll not play it unless it's around 5 bucks.

What little I've heard of it sounds relatively interesting. Plus, they're keeping the talking protagonist which makes me happy.

I'll pick it up eventually. Probably not a day-one purchase though. Never been all that enthusiastic about Dragon Age. When it comes to overused genres, fantasy RPGs are just one step behind military FPSs.

Well DA3 is coming regardless of what anyone wants, that is a name that sells now.
And while I'm sure there are still engineers at Bioware that can pull off another Origins and then some sadly they will not be allowed to do so, now it's all about Hollywood fluff drama, and the company heads made it clear some time ago they don't want to do traditional RPGs anyway... but that is exactly what Dragon Age needs.

In short DA3 is on it's way and it will be for those who enjoy newest Bioware productions.

Sure.
I just hope we can be different races again. Definitely don't make us be a boring old human.

I'd even put up with Origin if they deliver something that looks and plays like a direct sequel to DA:O.

However, I highly doubt it.

Yes. The series should not end with Dragon Age 2, the franchise has lots of potential.

I certainly hope there will be a Dragon Age 3. I want a dedicated isometric perspective like in the 1st one though.

I would say a cautious yes. If its like dragon age 2, they can keep it. If its like mass effect 3, they can keep it as well. I really don't get how folks like how every darn side mission is given out by eavesdropping on folks and then throwing some item at them.

So in the end, if they do make a dragon age 3, I will wait til its released and reviews are in. They have burned up my faith in their ability to create fun games.

I'd like most of what was in Origins, but with DA2's graphics/artistic design (although Bioware really need to learn to do character models in detail).

I do not want "talk to a companion" being a side quest, I'd like to actually get to think for myself rather than being given a nice little check-list to work through.

I'd also like it to not have plot holes or nonsensical plot points.

Oh, and given the choice, I'd actually prefer a non-voiced character. They choose decent actors and actresses, but when they make them vocal, they always simplify conversations.

I would like to see a Dragon Age 3. I would like to see it be more like DA: Origins though.

No

The Dragon Age franchise was bad to begin with. The setting and story is terribly boring. Probably Biowares worst series of games.

Could be. I haven't really played the first one, because my rig at that time couldn't handle it, and I haven't had much time to immerse myself in a massive game like DA:O. I am currently playing through DA 2 though - and I find it pretty okay, not exceptional, but not terrible either. :)
What I would like is actually a better character customization than what I saw in DA 2 in terms of skills and statistics. (what can I say, I love number crunching RPGs)

BUT really I would kill for another Jade Empire game.

makes you happy?

prepare to be nuked 5 different ways from sunday, (not that I minded, I can deal with either or, as long as I have input into the game..both games worked well I think.) people hated the talking protagonist on here.

OT: Should one be made? Yes, they have so much juicy bits to tie off an awesome 3rd game with, hell, maybe even a 4th or 5th.

Will it be half assed and shoehorn every little thing it can under the sun into it so it "attracts all audiences"? Probably, which is why I will wait to get it when it's 10-20 bucks, depending on what I see on it.

I think there should be a DA3. Origins was a great game and for as many faults as it had 2 was still enjoyable. I'd like to see it continue but please for the love of all that is holy give it a longer development cycle than 2. Make sure everything is golden before pushing it out the door. That's all that I ask for.
