I know it sounds silly but, I actually get a kick out of glitches. I hate it when they cause the game to freeze and you either corrupt your save data and have to start over or you just end up way back somewhere in the level and you have to redo a chunk of dungeon crawling. Still, on the whole I run into some pretty funny stuff and some of what I've run into in DA:I has just killed me with laughter.

When I spoke with horse master Dennet instead of just hitting X to talk, I jumped, he started talking and suddenly I was stuck in mid air dangling around 'cause I never completed my jump. It's really hard to have a serious conversation while you're floating about with your arms up in the air like you're the reincarnation of a Final Fantasy Cactuar.

On another occasion I was bashed through the bottom of the screen when hit by a rock from a giant and my Inquisitor never came back to the land of the living 'cause he was stuck underground in the scenery. That was a reload and a half. XD I've also had a glitch where Josephine (if you're doing her personal quest) starts to sink into her chair at Skyhold (and since the characters eyes have to be directed at her they literally watch her slowly sink into this chair and disappear and it just kills me 'cause the scene continues. XD) and she never comes back into view during the scene.

These were some of the things that I ran into and I was wondering what other glitches people were getting, if they were funny, annoying, game breaking, (I've had a few of those too, sadly) and whatever else. I also wanted to share this vid that my friends asked me to do the artwork for, 'cause it sums up a lot of what I ran into and was adequately silly.

Also, if you want to share tips or work around for some game breaking glitches, or talk about different features in the game that you like or dislike feel free. It's fun to hear other people's methods for play and opinions. (Just be respectful XD)

I had one that happened when my Inquisitor walked through the door of Skyhold once...the floor didn't load. And I don't mean in the walking on air sense, I mean my character fell through where the floor was supposed to be, and landed on the 'dirt' ground a full story below. At first, I didn't think much of it. But then I started panning the camera around and saw what I can only imagine was a model used for testing...a big barrel on which somebody had put triangles to resemble cat ears, 'whiskers', angry eyebrows, and disks placed in a way so as to resemble crossed eyes. In retrospect, I rather wish I'd taken a screenshot.

I've gotten the jump in conversation glitch often.

I got a glitch in the Winter Palace where it never changed me back to formal wear so I was going around chatting up nobles and dancing with Florianne in blood covered armour. Maybe they just thought I was making some daring fashion statement.

During the Ademant Keep quest Clarel apparently slit my characters throat so she was talking with blood pissing out of her neck.

One of the rouge skills regularly caused my character to remain glowing or have the eyebrows, tattoos and scalp texture removed.

I glitched through the floor in Skyhold and found this

This makes me laugh more than it should

Haha! That's all at once awesome and terrifying! Actually, I've found some of those black triangles on the Storm Coast! I was climbing up the side of a cliff, slipped down some rocks onto just one black triangle protruding from the rock face that I should've still been falling down. Still, your catface barrel is awesome. If it ever does happen again (if you do other playthroughs or if it just happens) I hope you do get a screen shot. That would be something to see.

Hahhah! Well you ARE talking about the royals in Val Royeaux, you probably were getting secret court approval for your dashing crimson! Maybe if you keep your blood squirting character we can have an Evil Dead dance party at the Winter Palace. I'm down for a Clue like possession game with the upper crust of Val Royeaux.

Okay dancing Cassandra just made my day! Nevermind that we've got a pie in a top hat all ready for the next end of the world bash. These are awesome!

Seeing as I haven't been able to play yet, I haven't encountered any. But, I have found this little one that isn't big or anything, but it does kinda destroy the mood they're trying to display (some spoilers relating to Cullen and his personal quest, happens at the end-ish of the video).

You can also have messengers walk in and out during that scene.

Ah but she was in Dalish armor which means she is an elf and in no shoes! Can you imagine the scandal? It speaks well of the nobles of Orlais that not one fainted in such an ordeal.

I can only imagine what it's like to be an NPC in this game. Worse yet, one that's bugging and zipping around the background while you're trying to talk something serious. XD I've had a few just go speeding away only to reappear right where they left off. (Happens a lot when I talk to scout Harding.)

Ah, though none fainted I can hear the court of the Winter Palace whispering behind their masks now: "LeGasp! Such absurdity, no shoes! Those incorrigible knife ear women! ...But the red is simply divine."

I had something similar to this on two occasions. I ran out of the front of the castle (opposite the throne) and the stairs down weren't there, so I fell down to the courtyard. The first time was only shortly after I'd reached Skyhold so I wasn't sure exactly where I was and I didn't know it was a bug. My reaction was like "wow that's so dangerous, somebody should really put a barrier in front of that ledge". And then everything loaded in properly and I realised what had happened.

Second time, I was more familiar with the layout so I knew the stairs had failed to load, I didn't fall off, and as I was waiting I realised that the entire castle ahead of that point was missing except for the floor.

Most of the glitches I had have been crashes and main characters not loading-in in skyhold.

There was something where varric seemed to be dipping and rising with his knees, I assume that was a corruption of the idle animation.

Oh I'm not the only one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFRZ-S2Kmo4

Had quite a few glitches playing the ps3 digital download version. Most of them screen tearing and game crashes. Can't remember any funny ones.

Urgh ... I don't even want to try and remember. I find it unreal that people spend 60 $ on a game and then experience retarded shit like this and can laugh about it ... you should be fucking angry as hell they shit like this is in the game after how long it took to develope it. You should be yelling at bioware for the sheer incompetence on display! And yet there are clowns out there who call this incomplete and broken game with mirriads of bugs that are raported yet bioware doesn't give 2 shits to fix goty. ANd place it in high spots on top tens. What is even the hell? Like let's take a common one that just made me rage quit for a week: The mosaic in the hinterlands is imposible to complete. 1 piece is placed inside a rock and you can't get to it. That this crap got into the game in the first place speaks volumes of the quality control at work here, but nevermind that. This was a day one bug that the comunity wrote volumes about, yet in 3 patches they didn;t even bother to touch it. How about the qunari and how shity they are implemented? Outside of the fact that no one gives 2 shits about you beeing a bleeding horn-head that by the logic of the lore shouldn't even be considered as canditate for inquisitor, they simply suck from a role play perspective because they have absolutly no armor variety. Qunari in this game have ONLY 3 armors they can wear: the generic crafted crap that everyone wears. No skull should-pads like Bull, no awesome warden/orlesian/dalish armor, nothing like the legion of the dead stuff. Fuck even something like the arishock in DA 2 had would have looked good, but nope. Generic chain-mail it is. For 100+ hours of game time. Oh unless you played extra and got the dragon whatever armor that looks ok, but again it's generic since any race can wear it. And let's add to the pile how any areas of the game are clearly incomplete. You can use the dismount trick to glitch through invisible walls and find whole areas of the game where stuff was supposed to be, but got cut out. Only they must have done the cutting like amateurs since in some regions exploration doesn't update properly and you are left with 21/22 areas explored. And don't get me started on the Skyhold ... "your own fortress to customize and upgrade as you see fit!" Complete with giant holes in the walls, massive pitfals in the dungeons and a grand total of 3 WHOLE UPGRADE CHOICES! BUILDING THE FOUNDATION TO MY COTTAGE IN SKYRIM WAS MORE COMPLEX THAN THE FUCKING USELESS SKYHOLD! The only thing that waste of space adds is more game time as i'm forced to run around that fucking place to talk to people. You're telling me I have this citadel and it never gets sieged or anything? Fuck you bioware. Oh how customizable ... 3 choices 2 of which are pure cosmetics. Fuck off.

DA:I is an incomplete bugg filled mess that everyone seems to give a free pass for some stupid as fuck reason. I threw the DVD out the window and never looked back. After ruining Mass Effect, Bioware have finaly managed to fuck up Dragon age too.I can't understand how retarded these devs have to be to not understand one simple thing: DRAGON AGE ORIGINS WAS AWESOME! DO THAT! No one wanted open world, no one wanted all this added bullcrap and all the bugs that came with it. Just update origins!

Well at least theres one more source of revenue for EA that I'm no longer pumping money into, leaving me finaly at 0.Only good thing that came out of this crap

Nothing funny. To be fair, not much glitched for me at all.

I did get a bug in Dorian's personal quest, when entering the Redcliffe Inn, and the cutscene wouldn't start. The interior loads and you can move around (and leave), but the quest itself doesn't trigger. I actually spent about 20 minutes running around, trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do. The inn is completely empty, which made the whole thing kinda creepy. The fix for this particular bug is to go into Origin and have it repair the game files. This clears it right up.

The other bug I got was supremely annoying - my party members stopped using their abilities, except for Barrier. This actually went on for a bit before I noticed, I just figured the game hit a difficulty spike. Also, it's quite sad, as apparently they lobotomized the AI into retardation (Tactics system, how I miss you), and they still can't get it to work properly. From what I gathered, the bug is caused by frequent respeccing. It's fixed by deleting your saves (of course, make sure they're backed up on the cloud) and then having the game sync with the cloud, restoring your saves. No idea why.

Beyond that, everything worked fine.

I have only encontered 1 glitch (aside from the broken passives and weakness bug) and it was funny as hell. You have to see it to really appreciate it tho.

BEHOLD!

It was not even an npc I needed to talk to or anything. I simply found him/her in the middle of an empty lake. Just standing there.

I only encountered two. The first one glitched me under the deep roads on a tiny platform, on one side there was a wall and on the other a botomless pit, lost 5 minutes of gameplay, meh.

And the other one was a cow flying backwards through the desert.

Not aure if this counts, but solving a puzzle where all your party members had to stay in position was a massive pain in the arse, i set everyone up, started lighting torches and find that ****h Sera standing right next to me.

Mostly just annoying ones, like Cole taking forever to appear, or conversation bugs where the audio kept on stopping or sounding choppy. As far as I am aware, the latter was patched out, and I have yet to meet Cole yet in my second playthrough, so I don't know about the former.

But for gamebreaking, the only one that I experienced was the one where after the intro cutscene, it just teleports your character into the opening sequence, letting you run around the set piece, and with no way of getting out, making you go through the character creator all over again. That being said though, this only happens if you are using the cutscene FPS fix, so it is kinda my fault that this happens. However, games should really stop being capped at 30FPS anyway.

The Inquisitor's Hat is hysterical! No matter who I put it on, it automatically turns their hair white and scrunches up their face. Cole is hysterical with it 'cause he looks like an early 90s 3D face, like something from GoldenEye.

Vivienne's furniture takes entire minutes to load. I'll be in the middle of a conversation and boom, the Inquisitor launches into the air because a chair just popped into existence.

SkyHold is basically a massive glitch, with everything either half loaded or not loaded at all. I've walked out of the war room into a sky-blue void as every single asset in all of SkyHold loaded separately. Took about 5 mins, but hysterical none the less.

Others have been less fun, with Rifts refusing to spawn demons, Dragon's randomly popping into existences, Great Bears popping into existence and companions getting stuck in walls. Once I clipped into a wall, jumped out and was talking in the air halfway across the Hinterlands until I found a castle wall to walk on, which seemed to get things back on track.

This may just be the greatest thing I've ever seen. XD
