I she a romance option? Yes.

Is she a compelling one? Many would answer in the negative, but that doesn't change the fact that she is an option in the game. Simple as that.

It would be nice to see more happen, but honestly I'm more interested in what happens to Morigan or Leliana.

if they made it so there was a full-on questing-thing and varying levels of 'wooing' like they did with the other 'options' then sure, why not? but honestly, since it was only really 'I'm and Human Male-sue-Cousland and I want to be KING!! so I marry you!!' and just like one decision and conversation then... no, i do not feel it was a 'romance'... like period. Could a 'romance' develop... sure... that's what fanfiction is for XD but as for the game-game... no... this isn't that broken romance-thingy from Dragon's Dogma where talking to her once and giving her a stupid flower means automatic love, this is Dragon Age, where you go through grit and steel and a truck load of cake for your 'love'... *snorts*

Anora was a *****...Even if you toed her line perfectly, she still ends up betraying you at the Landsmeet.

Further, wasn't the option to marry her solely a political thing? (A questionable one at that, because how bad does that make her look? She spent how long married to Cailan, and then just hops in bed with Alistair maybe 2 years max later? She'd look cheap and like she was only trying to hang on to power.)

I don't think it would make sense to count her as a romance option, really.

I could be biased, though. My heart belongs to either Zevran or Anders. If there was a Dragon Age game where they were both potential mates at the same time, I have no idea what I'd do.

Because it's an arranged marriage that is devoid of love, at least initially. Maybe weeks or months following the events of the game, the Warden and Anora develop feelings for each other but in the game, it's a political marriage.

No, not really. It's really just a political marriage, so no love required. Not saying the Warden and Anora couldn't have fallen in love later on, but that would have to be something outside of Origins.
